I always wanted to passionately own a horse when I was younger, but at the time it was out of the question, so I used to volunteer at a local stables and was responsible for looking after one mare in particular who was as good as gold and had a great personality, I was always going in her stable to talk to her.❤ I later started owning cats (bit smaller!) Eleven years ago, my youngest daughter brought home a beautiful Russian-Blue kitten. I called him Harry and we became soul mates for twelve and a half years. Sadly my beautiful Harry died of heart-failure following surgery at the beginning of January this year. Although I am very sad that he has gone and the pain is deep because he was an exceptional animal, just like Uniek, being very fine, beautiful and intelligent. Animals come into our lives for a reason and I realise how very lucky that some of us are to have had great relationships with them, to have known them and to have had the pleasure of having them as part of our lives.❤️🐎❤🐈. Bella is gorgeous, she looks so sweet in her pink halter!❤❤❤

Watching how Reintje and Uniek move shows how special Friesian horses are. So calm and responsive, they really are a special breed. I also feel like Coralle knows Belle comes from Uniek too because she was a little more forgiving of her being so close to the wall. What a special and amazing union between the three horses. Uniek truly was the One a complete legend of equal parts beauty grace & power,an absolute Boss Mare who commanded respect from both her equine companions but didn’t do it in such a way that intimidated them,in the same breath she was soft,loving and gentle knowing the difference between when she had a young child on her back versus when she could be the total powerhouse with an adult yet even then she was calm & steady caring for her rider,the glue that held Stal H together. Belle has big hoof prints to fill but she will make her mem proud and no doubt have her own equally beautiful connection with Yvonne.👑🐎🌈🪽🩷🌸🥹

Awe, gorgeous majestic Queen Uniek was such a special lady from the moment we saw her. Beauty, brains, heart, presence.....she was the total package. So great to watch her and her bestie Reintje in their paddock running. Seeing baby Belle in the paddock too with those ultra long legs is always a treat. She is going to be just like both her Moms, sweet natured and beautiful too. Happy moments at Stahl H today. Everyone looked fantastic.

I always try to be rational when it comes to interpret animal emotion and behaviour, trying to avoid to read human behaviour into animals. But Uniek constantly watching Belle so intently with her lovely eyes makes me want to believe Uniek knows about Belle. And Coralle being okay with Uniek basically hanging her head into the stall and stare😄is also special to me. I think that it was really nice of Yvonne to share with her friends the joy of riding the big, magnificent Uniek, during their visit. I'm sure that they are all very glad that they have this beautiful memory of riding Uniek on what would turn out to be one of her last days with us all. RIP, beloved Queen 👑.
