Riding Shark Valley Loop in Everglades National Park

A bicycle is the perfect way to experience the Everglades in southern Florida and the carfree Shark Valley Loop is the best place to do it.

I used to live in South Florida, and we did the loop in the winter bc of the mosquitoes were so awful.. but the downside was the gators used to sunbathe on the path. I do miss it though. The Florida keys has I think the best bike paths, and key west is a cycling paradise. Enjoy.

Gators can run up to 30 mph, faster than that clunky bike😄

What exactly IS that massive bug near the beginning? 🫣 Just moved to Florida, want to visit the Everglades, and I’ll be more scared of the insects than the gators! 😂
