How to Visit Shark Valley - Bike, Walk, or Tram? (Everglades National Park, Florida)

We're Justin and Jess, and this is the first stop on our journey from the southernmost part of the United States, all the way up to the northernmost point that you can drive in Canada in the Arctic Circle. Today, we're in the Everglades National Park in South Florida, just about an hour west of Miami.
We're going to be biking to the Shark Valley Observation Tower, the tallest point in the Everglades. And hopefully we're going to see some of the park's most iconic residents, alligators, along this 15-mile loop.

First off, fantastic thumbnail. Secondly - Shark Valley is so amazing! You just can't get over how many gators there are and you're only like 1 mile in! 😂 We saw some baby gators when we were there years ago and I was leaning in a little to get a photo when I suddently noticed these large eyes staring at me a few feet away. I backed away pretty quick. 😂😂 Also...I laughed at snoop. -J

Louisiana has the largest alligator population! But Florida is the only state where alligators and crocodiles live side by side
