Hi, hope your attempt went well if you gave it a go. We did it in August and had great weather. I would recommend doing it in summer mainly because the trails and fields will be less wet and therefore faster.

Yes, we had the usual spare tubes, tire levers, multi tool and pump. Luckily we didn't have to use them though!

Hi Barney, you would probably have to walk certain sections but Greg Callaghan and a couple of his mates recently managed it on gravel bikes so id say its possible. I would recommend wide tires though as the arms would get pretty tired from all the bumps.

I was planning to do the wicklow way portion from Glencullen (near the GAP) down to Cloon Curtlestown wood parking (on the L1011) but someone told me it's forbiden for bikes, only for hikers, so that's not true right ?
