As usual, I really enjoyed this video. The speed these trains travel at is amazing and the price seems very reasonable for the distance travelled. While fast, they still allow you to see the scenery which you miss when flying. I loved seeing the rural scenery. Japan shares many similarities with my country (New Zealand), agriculture, mountains, earthquakes, volcanoes and being an island nation. Thank you very much for sharing.

Great trip. I like the design of Komachi and Hayabusa, because the design is unique and anti mainstream, even Alfa X is great, can't wait for this train running for regular service. Train Decoupling or Train coupling moment is something not to be missed, no matter it's high speed or conventional one. Correct Me If I Wrong, Komachi can running on Conventional Line, in this case to Akita. I don't know between Morioka and Akita is connected by high speed line (not train, because the train already here) or still at Conventional Line? Also where this train doing gauge changing, since Conventional Line in Japan is narrower than High Speed a.k.a Shinkansen Line.

It would help if you had the other matching pair to go with them, then you can say that you rode on both and have both chopsticks. Australia doesn't have a lot of trains, Victor there is the Puffing Billy which is an old steam engine that is maintained, The Indian Pacific which goes from Sydney to Perth via Adelaide (route is also available in reverse), The Great Southern which goes to Adelaide to Brisbane (route is also available in reverse), The Ghan which goes from Darwin to Adelaide, Adelaide to Alice Springs or Darwin to Alice Springs (routes are also available in reverse), and the Spirit of the Outback which is a sleeper train goes from Brisbane to Longreach (route is also available in reverse). I haven't gone on any of the later ones as Puffing Billy is one I have gone on during a primary school trip

And Hayabusa has to be one of the most perfectly-named vehicles ever. Also, am I seeing things, or are the little characters on the guardrails at 22:39 and 23:44 meant to look like the trains?

Although I'm from America, I cannot eat any Asian food without chopsticks! It's sacrilege...and it just doesn't taste as good (kind of like how you say a bento tastes better on a train, lol). I bought me three pairs: one for the kitchen drawer, one for my car, and one for my purse.)...I got them all titanium 'cause I didn't want them to break down, but they're a little light sometimes and I wish I had paid more attention to the weight of them...never knew it could make a difference :). My favorite color is RED, but I do like that turquoise green...be pretty cool if I can find 'train' chopsticks!
