So interesting to see you guys experience the forward launched shuttle rides for the first time! I remember you had the same experience recently at SFMM with Superman turning one track back to forward, and now you do with Mr. Freeze. Alas, I'm an old guy and I only ever got to do the forward launches from the original '90s versions, and I never got to experience the reverse. I got back to SFMM for the first time in forever this year and the backwards launch was closed, and I'm getting back to Over Texas this year, only to have lost the reverse as well, lol. I need to go to St. Louis before it's too late!

Am I the only person who likes Mr. Freeze more forwards? IMO, the launch is more fun forwards, and doing the forwards run first and the more chaotic backwards run second feels like better pacing than starting with the chaotic backwards run and then doing the forwards run second.

@@ZoniesCoasters For me, the spike is kind of a wash; facing down, it's a cool visual, but facing up, falling faster than gravity and having the feeling of the seat falling away from you is cooler than having the seat fall into you, IMO.

It's funny to hear you say you like "the old one better" about Mr Freeze because i've been on it like 20x over several years, but that was way before they turned the train around and ran it in reverse. Remember it ran forward for 13 years before they started running it backwards.

So I went to lone star coasterthon and they had a q&a where they were asked about Freeze being 1 traib forwards and 1 train backwards. They said they did it because the backwards launch was a maintenance nightmare and the forwards made it more reliable.

I don't see why flipping the seats around would affect the reliability of the launch system, which is on the bottom of the train and on the track under the train.

Hi Coaster Studios, great meeting you just before you went on Aquaman! I was there for Coasterthon that day and in the Q&A they mentioned one reason for the delay for Aquaman was that they decided to add the turntable after construction had started to increase capacity for this water ride in Texas. Now I'm sure they figured most days wouldnt be 50's and rainy!

To me Shockwave reminds me of Kumba. A roller coaster with a lot of force that’s janky but gotta be a roller coaster enthusiast to enjoy it. The general public hates them. That’s what makes me nervous with these older rides unfortunately

Just a small pointer. Comic and gaming statues can be incredibly expensive. This is not a six flags things. Honestly six flags is so unaware sometimes you can sctually get models or staturs for significant amounts under resale value (example would be bombshell poison ivy which sells for $250 msrp but resells for close to $600)

Just wondering why that would be bizarre that they had to raise it with them cement cylinders because the ground wasn't level. Is it bizarre that you have to level a washer and dryer or refrigerator due to the floor in a home being just a bit off level? sorry, Mr freeze is better FORWARD FIRST! When it went backwards first it was too much on the head and neck and honestly the spike is more intense going upward forward then backward so yeah im glad six flags over texas went back to the original, forward first
