This is a big deal Interesting dead cat Did not know about this tram to the top of Arch Better than walking! Great views up there Marvelous! Pretty fascinating Thanks for the tour of St Louis Arch

Wow, you were really paying attention. Thank you so much for watching. The audio checks we are doing is kind of a running joke on the channel. It was born from this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJS9Ynp4ortnpNU When we were testing the new microphone system. Zelda made her first appearance, and we started doing audio checks because of what happened to this video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4exnZxvptt1l9U The tram is a true engineering marvel and is amazing how they built it into the arch. The tram is also the only way to the top of the arch. They have a really good movie giving the history of the arh and how it was built. Jim

That is so one wild elevator ride 🤪 I haven’t been since I was a Cub Scout 😂 and I only live 30 minutes away 🤪

Is that not how it goes. You never visit or find the cool stuff right near your home. We are thinking that maybe for next years adventures, we stay in Ohio as much as we can. See what home has to offer.

Yep, that's the tight barrel ride that I remember from 2003. I have some claustrophobia and can definitely relate. It helps being able to see some steps during the ride. 😊

Pearl was definitely feeling it. Something about all that moving and shaking. But hey. It's great that you both went up. I was too busy getting my leg crushed. 😃 Thanks so much for coming along. This ride should have been much better and probably brought a laugh. I was looking through some of the comments coming in, and you have good company feeling a bit worried riding up.

Amazing the gateway arch but i didn’t know you could ride a lift up (looks fun but so small) I don’t think I’d fit inside 😮 Jim Pearl thanks for sharing 👌🏻 Best wishes Simon 🤠👍

Thanks for riding up with us, Simon. The tram system is almost as amazing as the Arch from an engineering point of view. I am so proud of Pearl riding up the tram to the top.

We thought this was a really cool place. I totally agree with Pearl that the capsule is tight. I wouldn't want to stay in it very long. It was so crowded the day we were there. Glad you guys got a good day. Lynn and Danny

We had a great time. Yep, the only thing good from the covid days was that there were no crowds.

Glad you enjoyed it. The tram ride was so cool. The views up there were amazing but time was so short so you got to get to it. I am so proud of Pearl for riding up in that thing. Hope you like trains, we got a bunch coming in the next video.

I have not been to the arch in years. I was thinking you could go to the top anymore. Such a weird ride up there.

Still running. Maybe they had them down for maintenance at some point. Being a engineer I just love the tram. Pearl was more amazed at how they built the arch.

I really do want to go to the top of the Gateway Arch... but I don't know about that tram to the top. I guess I will give it a try someday. Bt that does look a bit terrifying. It is fascinating how they built it - and it is a great view from the top. Thanks for showing us what this experience is like!

You are in good company. Several have commented on how they were scared and still went up. The tram is a true mechanical wonder that is almost as amazing as the arch. There is a great film about all this playing in the theater there. What was funny Pearl was only scared going up. She was fine for the ride down. Hope you make it there someday. We found St. Louis had so much to do.

lol it’s ok Pearl. I squeezed the crap out of Kristi’s leg on the way up, too. Haha. Looks like you guys had a fun time up there. I wanna look down those stairs next time. Lol

Tell that to Kristi and my leg. Surprised there were not a bruise. The fun is the adventure. So cool you two are about to begin a new journey in life. RETIREMENT!!!! Still have 39 months here to go. Can not wait to see the adventures you guess are about to have. As you know I was watching before you became a "Drone Master of Flight". Enjoyed your travel adventures. You might want to think about a second channel covering the travels. No matter what I'll keep watching. Yep I'm still in Japan and finally head home tomorrow. Done with Japan and think we will not be returning. Pearl stayed home in the nest this time. Jim
