Riding up one of the hardest trails at Georgetown ohv - trail 1 - black diamond - steep and rocky

Georgetown ohv - this is the section of trail one that’s just north of 6-1. Coming from 6-1 I turned right one to trail 1, this is a black diamond rocky trail that goes uphill . Enjoy 🤘

Just hit Georgetown for my first time last week. Loved this section!! Wish my chin mount hadn’t failed prior to reaching it. Thanks for sharing, Dom!

Right on 🤘 Georgetown is badass, this section has kicked my ass both times I’ve ridden it 😅 but I was just there last month and did the whole trail 1 loop, from mace mill in a counter clockwise direction. About 35 miles, a mix of green, blue and black trails. Over by trail 8 there’s a gnarly double red diamond section 👌

@@RidingWithDom I believe that’s the loop I did with a buddy last week. What a great ride! I blew out the tubliss bladder in my front wheel before coming down that ♦️♦️.. made for an interesting descent 😂😅

ON Rock Lobster its actually easier to go up the face than going on the alternate trail to the side where you got hung up at the bottom. The camera never really shows how steep and technical it is on this part of trail one. If you can make it up the very bottom and can keep the momentum the rest is pretty easy.

Thanks I’ll try that next time, this was only the second time I’ve had a chance to ride up that trail. It’s a badass trail just need to ride it some more

@RidingWithDom yea unless you are an A rider it takes a bit of riding it to get a handle on it. Especially the very bottom where the shale makes it impossible to get a good run on the 8 foot wall. ALSO try trail 7.1 on the southside of the park that is even more technical. It's hard to catch your breath on that technical section.
