in the end i agree with having 2 seperate setups, i have a freeride setup with 3x 110 and 4x90 frames. and i have an aggressive setup with 2x60mm + anti rocker.

The 270mm version of the Ground Control HD80 frame also allows to swap without removing the wheels - especially with a ball head allen key. And the biggest 45-46 Aeon80 has a longer frame and a bigger groove which is nice. Plastic frames require softer and good quality wheels for rough surfaces outside the skatepark. Hard wheels might make it even more horrible for the far away supermarket.

Wohoo didnt know channels for rollerblades exist haha, i still use mine 80mm roller blades from 10 years ago, in Romania the salary is 400 euro per month it would take me half year to buy a pair haha

Snagged me a pair of Rollerblade RB Cruiser skates because of your videos. Looking forward to modding them to my liking. I've been an ice hockey player for years, but I live in Florida, USA now and can only get ice time 2-3 times a week. Looking forward to learning! RB Cruiser was my choice since you said they were better for wide feet. Thanks for your awesome info and videos!

Great video. I'd be rad to see a followup video comparing all the 4X60 mm flat setups out there as an urban/aggro hybrid. This is what I use and feel it is comparable to Oysi m for such use.

I didn't even know that some of these options existed! For now I'll stick to my setup with minor changes maybe, but I'll definitely keep this video in mind when I'm thinking of getting a new setup :)

I definitely learned alot from your older videos, so i'd say you accomplished that :) so would there be a way to change frames/ add soulplate to a Powerslide Next Boot? 🤔

Giod to hear! No there is no souplate for the next boot

1 minute into the video I am guessing an original Wish frame (Oysi) with 72mm wheels on the outside and 60mm wheels on the inside for a tiny rocker… big wheels for fast riding… rocker for tight turns in skatepark and flatland tricks and a huge grind groove with wheelbite protection due to the high/low frame characteristics of the Oysi. Mount them to a relatively stiff Carbon boot with a removable liner… put in an aftermarket liner for perfect fit if stock not already offers it. Working on this setup right not with Faction Tacticals with V2 stealth soulplates, 50/50 inner wheels and Famus outers… Custom leather 45 degree straps and cuff straps by JadRollerVlog… Stock liners in my case… and all black :-) Hopefully gets me that nice ‘can ride anywhere’ skate! I have a size 46 so the large Oysi frame fits my boot to perfection! Edit: and once the V2 faction Cuff drops I will complement my setup with it… by then… dream skate done :-)

Two separate purpose built skates are always better than a hybrid. Like how a multi-tool does more things but all of them not as well as a single purpose-built tool, or why audiophiles prefer separates instead of integrated. I have a hockey skate, urban skate an aggressive skate. I could try to do all 3 with one skate but it would suck hardcore at all 3 uses. Could you do a review of the FR SL Freeride and/or Endless Swan's 90x84x84x90 set-up vs a normal 4x90 frame?

@Thisissoul will do. The reason for my asking is because you use the carbons have fallen off the face of the Earth, and I think Iqon is the reason. I think the same of Gawds is the reason for the carbon free missing.

my guess for an ideal hybrid skate would probably be seba cj2 i guess, i've never used it but in theory i think it would be good?

I got mysel the razors cult & frx 80 for this reason , i looked at big wheel frames for the razors but i thought the frx might be the better option with a more solid boot and low price . Only downside is that if i wanna skate to the skatepark inhave to carry a second pair of skates😂
@Thisissoul

Quick question.. Is there any bigger than size than 46EU aeons? Are any of the skinned models slightly bigger than the plastic aeons? TIA
@Thisissoul
@Thisissoul 7 ай бұрын
46 is the biggest aeon size that is being made. Check out our shell sizing video to learn the exact inside length and if that is compatible with your foot length!
