🤣agreed, that really bothered me the whole vid, I just bought a new bike and I had chain and chain ring creak and it was driving me crazy I had to take apart the whole bottom bracket and and do some work.. someone Said she said it was new so maybe she's still getting all the parts figured out 🤷🏾♂️

This was so cool. I only only only disliked the camera changing angles towards the end because I’m indoor cycling along with you and with a projector screen. Riding fixed is all about control and if you only have one foot strapped in, you're definitely not in control.

I remember track bikes being used in London 25 years ago. It was guys who rode Track, using their bikes to do cycle couriering working around London. Makes sense to train and make some wages at the same time. For some reason, Brick Lane Hipsters from East London seemed to think they were a great ride all day. It kinda spread from there. I understand single speed, my winter hack is single, But on the roads, you need to be able to slow down fast, freewheel, you cannot do this on fixed!

@@lukeskywalker5418 not sure about using bmx wheels though, not the same hub spacing and axles. Also not compatible with gears. You'll have to stick with non bmx 20" wheels. As for the bmx parts, you might be able to use some, but it's generally bmx specific standards.

@@wanksta3436 I disagree. I was hit by a car in 2019 & wasn't wearing a helmet that day. I broke my skull in a few places & peeeld back to the bone. Spent 4 days in ICU. If I had the helmet I would have just had the road rash & torn muscles vs almost having brain damage. I'm blessed nothing permanent happened. Never again. Even in downtown settings.

I live in Dallas Tx but I grew up in Chelsea , I used to ride these streets as a kid. But the streets look relatively empty going down lower Broadway. Is this due to covid ? I wish I can do this again. Thanks for the videos. BTW saw some crazy rides from GW Bridge all the way down awesome. One racer crashed I hope he’s ok. 👍🏽

does anyone else do weight transfers when they watch these videos? I find my self almost jumping when I watch mtb doing slope style, lol I rode phoenix for 10 years and the body movements are engraved in my nervous system. I rode a 52 x 16 and a 54 x 16 when I was at my strongest.

Wow. Scary to me in a different way. No helmet while she's riding. I recently nearly eaten a car door on a bike ride and lucky for me I was riding relatively slow to give me enough break time to stop and sort of kiss the opening door in front of me. Not sure if the lady in the car had a cigar in her hand but I did give her a good glaring stare while wearing my sun glasses! She then said sorry. It would've have been very expensive for the lady driver! Accident!
