What is your gear ratio? I am running a ten speed 11-48 in rear and a 32 tooth crank sprocket. I can't get sustainable wheelies at that kind of speed from my cyc x1 pro gen3. Running a 72v batt at 60 amp continuous.

hello! you don't have problems with police in uk? i want to go also with my cyc gen 2 build on that country but i heard if i got caught my bike is going to be crushed...

@dragos32 From my experience with ebikes the police in the UK don't have a clue, as long as they don't see you flying above 25mhp being a disturbance you'll probably be fine. I do want to add though my previous ebike wasn't a DIY build it was a bike with the bosch cx motors with it chipped going 36mph on the roads.

I’m curious what rear hub you’re using? I have a Marin Rift Zone with a CYC stealth and a low engagement Shimano hub. Throttle engagement is pretty violent sometimes

What throttle do you use ? I have the same set up. Gen 2. 72v 80 amp continuous. Bac 2000. With the standard thumb throttle. There’s a major lag for some reason. Idk.

Hi , yes I will do video about my bike soon when I have time. Not sure about top speed I only had 46mph and it still creeping up so I think it could do 50mph no problem

​@@Jack77169 I'd love to have a bike like yours. It's the ultimate ebike build, light weight and high power make it so quick through those tight and tricky routes. It looks like you're putting about 7kw through it and its holding up really well. I've seen a few videos where these motors have problems with the magnets coming loose and shorting the motor because they're glued to the armature with very thin edges holding them in. The centrifugal force and heat warp tends to tear them out after a while if untreated. I was wondering, did you use some kind of electrical varnish or strong sealant to keep them from coming loose? If you did, could you let me know which one please?
