For pests and other insects plus excellent spider prevention I found that Cylence worked really well. It comes in a small cubed container for 20 or so. It makes 2 gallons in a sprayer. I have not been bit by spiders ever since. I hope this helps because it did for me.

My wife and I have had one for years and love it. Both for the adjustable firmness that you both an set to what works for you. But also because as parts of the mattress wear out you can replace it, without getting a whole new mattress.

Hi folks. My wife, Ellen and I met you at the Okie Homesteaders. We watch all the time on our television, unable to comment from that platform. We laughed when you said you wanted snow up to you porch roof. We know your smart, but we love snow, but only in small amounts, now we question your sanity.😅😂 Keep up the great work. We have met 45 to 50 creators from KZbin. By far you are our favorite. Love from Arkansas. ❤❤

The spider is your friend they live on flies, When I lived in Africa in the 1950's our house was in the path of a colony of safari ants, now they can be as big two and a half inches long and they bite. The house being in the way was not a problem for them they just came in one side and went out the other and it would take days for the whole lot to come through. We had to put the bed legs in large containers like paint tins filled with kerosene and make sure the bed clothes stayed off the floor.

Martin talked about a desire for high snow levels. The Truckee / Soda Springs area of California gets some of the highest snow levels in the country. Last winter, the snow levels reached second floor windows. Imagine having to maintain passable driveways, streets and walkways through levels like that. Great job on the bed frame.

My sister in law lives in Truckee. We FaceTimed a couple times and it was insane the amount of snow. I traveled donner for probably close to 25 years on a regular basis and never saw it that bad. Unfortunately for us up here in north Idaho the predictions aren’t looking all that great for having 6’ on the ground, but we shall see. Always prepare for the worst.

The pain tolerance thing is a bit whack. Men and women register pain differently. Most women who've passed kidney stones and given natural birth without pain meds would pick the natural birth. I know at least one guy who had recurring kidney stones for almost 5 years. Took them like a champ.

Allot of homesteaders are sponsored by them on their channels and maybe you all could get a free mattress from them. Hi Martin and Jules! Bed frame turned out so nice! Great job! I recommend a Sleep Number mattress! They are the best for your body. I know alot of people like the foam beds, but they are not good for your body. They have chemicals in the foam! Sleep Numbers are adjustable for each side which is great! One might like a firmer mattress, while the other person might like a softer mattress, and you can adjust the mattress to your liking!😊

There is only one mattress that I will buy it’s called ‘Tempur’ it’s the best mattress money can buy but they are expensive but you get a great 15 year warranty with it. They were designed for NASA to line the shuttle so that the astronauts would not be injured when they when into space we are now on our second mattress as I have chronic pains in my back constantly so we needed something that was comfortable and after trying loads of different types and manufacturers we finally found Tempur and it’s hands down the best mattress there is out there. They are a memory foam mattress which come it a 12 and a 14 inch deep mattress so depending upon what bed frame you have as to which you’d need we just buy the deeper mattress but a super king size mattress which is 6foot wide and 6foot 6 inches long and it’s brilliant. A lot of people will not pay the money for one but you spend roughly 33% of each day in the bed so when you work out the cost it came to 2p per night each for a quality nights sleep and more importantly I was able to reduce the amount of morphine which I was taking each day and that improved my lifestyle so the mattress is golden to me and the wife loves it.
