I just wanted to say thanks for all the videos. I was a truck driver. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with heart condition and lost my CDL. I feel so grounded at home and miss seeing the country. So thanks for the video's. It's really been appreciated

Mountain Man Mike, I so enjoy your videos! You take me to places to which I have never been (and I wish I were), and others that I have been to, and love to revisit via your truck-cam. I really like your voice, your attitude, and your commentary, it's all really good. This is one of those videos where I think you go through Glenwood Canyon, CO on I-70, what a magnificent stretch of the Interstate system! God Bless America, thank you for what you do for a living, but also thank you for these posts to share your view from the windshield with us. Peace! :) John in Montrose, PA

I am very much thankful to be riding Shotgun with you. Although we have some beautiful country north of the border in Beautiful British Columbia Canada, It is a pleasure to see some of the same only different down in your neck of the woods. The short time (7 years) I drove, hauling crude oil in Saskatchewan was a pleasure and I only whish I had started earlier in my life. I am now 69 and happily retired . I will have to drive those mountains and see them for my self. I the mean time I am happy to let you do the driving while I ride shotgun. May God ride with you always and keep you safe. CHEERS!!!!

Good morning, Mt. Mike. Don't you love Michigan, "Pure Michigan". Back in 1970, when I worked for the Ann Arbor Railroad Ferries. Frankfurt to Kewanee (wis.) run (60 miles). We loaded the ships with trucks at night for $35 one way. Very popular with Semi Truck Drivers---saved hundreds of miles driving around Lake Michigan.

Rookie? My 1st drive was a 1929 NASH! Al, itinerant farm worker, guitarist, left his wheels with us. Mom sent me to the store one-to-many times. I wired it (was 11) and she didn't do it again. 84 now, seems like yesterday.

I noticed all those dead trees along the road, too. Mag C does seem to be the most likely cause. It will be interesting to find out if that is what killed them. They look too far off the road for any snow removal equipment to have damaged the trunks. Keep us posted if you hear more about it, please.

Small sailboat trailers tend to suffer from overheated bearings because not everyone has Bearing Buddy grease caps to keep adequate grease in the bearings and dunking the trailer often happens with warm hubs into cold water that gets sucked through the seals when everything contracts as the metal quickly cools. If not caught soon enough it can cause bearing failure and sometimes fire.

Hello Mike: Good to be back in shotgun position. IH70 seemed to have held up fairly well during the winter? Saw some areas that were patched. Cold water like you were in the trout will be a little deeper, might try a wooly worm or some other bottom lure. We never saw you with your line wet. Hard to catch anything unless you have the line in the water. Thanks for the ride, be safe. Edward

Love your channel and enjoy watching, always happy to see you have posted a new one. But something disturbed me so much, news channels are saying the trucker going into the crowd on I35 in Minneapolis was trying to kill people. He honked his horn, and he stopped. If he wanted to hurt people, he could've killed hundreds. I think, he did a stupid thing, but I think he was frustrated with all the work all truckers have done to keep this country open and running, and have a major highway shut down. The independents, I understand, have been hurt the most with low rates and little appreciation for their hard work and risk to them and their families by being out during CoVid. They are letting one police officer and looters and rioters destroy our country!! In San Antonio and some other communities, people are taking back the right to protect themselves and their businesses, their communities and historical landmarks. I stand with the peaceful protestors, not with the destroyers!!
