Its a Franklin frame, not ford ft axle, walking the wrecking yard in the 1930s. Mine was very similar overland cowl on my T, T touring rear body very close to the upper line not kicked up, I used same turtle deck. Ft spring not ford. Great interview hot rod magazine in 70s. Speedway guy gets it. Good luck. Oh yeah my conversation with Ed in the 80s for my vintage Chevy 6 cam, he IS a genius I also have one of his "eliminator" cams he ground for me, and one for my brothers flathead, same with my 6. Hope the info helps. So many Ed stories!

Nolan is such a special human being, the connection he has with Taylor is a pleasure to witness (and with Dennis). Then there's Dennis, how does one even begin to describe him?... Legend seems to be entirely fitting!. But wait there's more, Mom is the unsung "glue" behind the scenes, she deserves as much praise as anyone. And who is it that's responsible for us being able to watch it all, Megan of course, we wouldn't get to see anything if it wasn't for Megan filming everything, not only that but always being in the right spot at the right time, breathing in the burnout rubber to capture just the right shot "well done Megan". This Channel is so inspirational, exciting, funny, uplifting, and i could go on and on and on... There's enough sad News in the World today, Humanity needs more of this type of content than ever before!

Speedway Parts is the Ticket. Great place to buy parts. I got a header kit for my Big Block Ranger for a great Price. I built a roadster frame and put a VW bug body on it. Had a 500 ci Caddy engine Everything I got from Speedway was 10 stars. Speedway motors link is above. Thanks Alex for the video. Good to see.

Hot rodding is innovation from necessity and I love that Ed's car is just that
@unmalo2768
@unmalo2768 Жыл бұрын
I don't think necessity would be appropriate. There is no need for a hot rod. There is a "want" for a hot rod. So, in actuality, hot rodding is design, invention, creation, craftmanship, future thinking, but most of all, the desire to go fast!

This is one of the few ongoing projects that I look forward for the next episode = THANX ! I’ve had nothing but positive experiences dealing with Speedway. Had a couple problems once with some taillight lenses (most people it would not bother or notice). The customer service is 100% I mean perfect. I always wait till I have a least $150 so I get their free shipping deal it really helps out making parts affordable these days!!! This sounds like a commercial for Speedway but it’s rare to find a company that is a good experience and quality parts to boot so that needs to be passed on.

Hi guys, Dennis, maybe those brakes are Lincoln. Lincoln had juice brakes a few years before Fords did. And they are Bendix type (single anchor) easier to adjust than Ford's. The video didn't show the backing plates so I'm just guessing. I'm just a kid (75) compared to Ed, but he has been one of my heros since I started reding hot rod magazines. I am 1/2 Armenian and that makes it even better.. I really watching Alex on Hot Rod and the ATR videos, keep up the good works, Thanks, Ross

Speedway saved my butt so many times it's CRAZY ! They do what very few others can. They deal with the odd ball stuff on weird cars you never can fine people willing to go the extra mile to do. And they get it right. Case in point they got all my hard parts to build a very strong Olds 330 (punched to 350 cubes) to copy a W-31 speck motor. Most places when you say Oldsmobile they always say Nope, no got.. Speedway, ------ How many do you need
