I live just north of Durham. Just FYI if you deliver there again, it's not the safest part of Durham by any means. I drove a flat-bed for a little while, and delivered sheetrock to a building just across the RR tracks from where you are. My delivery instructions even included the phrase, "bad hood". Just be careful! Great video as always!!!!

Most of the time when customers are rude it usually because of the previous driver or drivers.. I’m like you, I treat the shippers and receivers like I would want to be treated (with respect).. And even if they are still rude I say “have a nice rest of your day” as I head out the door (sometimes sarcastically).. Enjoyed the video. Be safe out there.. 👍✌️

They actually let you stay backed into a dock door, now that's what I call friendly. 18 years as a truck driver and I've had my share of nasty people while at the same time I've dealt with some wonderful people. It's better to be on a dedicated account then OTR because after a while, you know where your going.

dave great video yea gotta keep watching the rds it was a yr ago today when I got up way to early to hang out all weekend with Friends on Los Angeles (too early in fact) oh well but I went thru an area we lived in as kids and my GPS was like: turn left here I'm like ah no, they built a huge metal wall barrier there now but dave we all need to know did you go to that BBQ place across the way? that's the real question 😂 when you said that im like do it do it. yea you gotta be careful with most pallets this morning at Marshall's the driver was taking the second one out and it broke yes with all the contents (the wherehouse wrapped it but not tight enough) we were all like 🙄 same thing happened when I was with Safeway I hate that they hand it off to drivers knowing they didn't make it tight

Good back Dave! Always nervous opening doors, Tyson told us horror stories of drivers and yard dogs getting crushed and mangled by falling product. One man got his head caught by falling pallets and the trailer bumper, broke him up, lucky to be alive though. Tyson makes us use these red cable straps to catch the doors if product shifted on them. Oh, I spot that engine light, lemme guess, DEF sensor? My 2020 been in three times for it haha. Safe travels EDIT; I’m the same way, Dave: nice, easy-going guy. I actually listened to and watched to a receiving lady talk shit about me to her coworker because I asked for my bills one too many times. I’m thinking, “Wow, I’m right over here, and I’ve been so nice to you. Unbelievable.” Some people, man.
