Ridstar Q20, that annoying SQUEAK!

My Q20 squeaked, it squeaked a lot! I chased those demons away.

Had the same problem WD-40 did the job

WD40 is great for chasing the water out, but I didn't want the oil residue collecting dirt. Ride safe.

I went back and forth between this bike and the Amyet G60 and ended up getting the G60. They seem very similar. I have less than 100 miles on it and so far the only squeak is the crappy brakes. I'm guessing I'll have this problem at some point so its good I already have the solution

What about the front brake scraping, whenever i turn, it starts to scrape

The caliper could be recentered on the disc. It could also be that the disc has a bit of warp. Ride safe.

ive been watching your vids for some research on the Q20 and im wondering, what do you think some of the Q20s biggest competitors are and some pros cons if you know any?

Pros: There is no other bike I have found with as much bang-for-buck. The battery at 20 ah and a 1000/1200 watt (depending on what advertisement) motor. Cons: Ridstar as a company SUCKS for any support unless you are initiating a return of the bike. Additional support for any parts from them is about zero. Owning one you do a lot of research to source parts yourself. Myself, I have bought a bunch of brake pads and a set of planetary gears just to have. They are not expensive, but when you find parts you stock up. Overall, I love my bike, but I suggest watching my latest video, 800 Mile Ride & Review. Ride safe. One more thing, if you are in the U.S. I suggest buying through Amazon. They offer for like $70 a 2 or 3 year warranty that covers shipping. I figure they probably just pay you off on the bike if they need to honor the warranty.
