This build is much like my 1929 Blackburne 500.... we also used the nylon plugs in place of the wrist pin clips...... We found sealed crank case bearings.. I was concerned but my machinist guru buddy said the bearings are rated higher than this engine could ever obtain.... My cam.... looking very much like this unit was badly pitted... we sent it to a NASCAR shop in Alabama ...... they repaired, and heat treated it.... upon its returned t looked perfect..... So far its a good runner.... 😎

Is there any kind of motorcycle or car this guy can't work on? I hope we'll get to see the complete bike with the engine in it. I'm not familiar with the 1929 500.
