Now, I just brought an album from Putridity, specifically the deluxe version of their debut album on Red and Bone Vinyl. I always loved the band’s distinct style of Brutal Death Metal song writing, it hits every single note that I have and is so different from the other bands that I struggle to find any alternatives. They’re able to nail down every single aspect that Brutal Death Metal stands for, speed, heaviness, complex rhythms, amelody, absent timbre, etc. but how, what does each of these things mean and why do they contribute to the sound of Brutal Death, and more specifically Putridity. The most that I can decipher is that Putridity goes at fast speeds with tempo changes being absent, track-by-track, almost as if the whole album is one massive onslaught of blast beats, gutturals and slams(mostly because I is) but how is it more effective than everything else I’ve listened to? I’d love to see a video covering it. I know they aren’t really prog or full-blown technical, but I think their distinct style is innovative enough to explore.

I’d love to see a vid on the song “Mania” by Entropia, which has a lot of ambiguous tonality and nifty rhythmic tricks. The album flew completely under the radar but was very comfortably my favorite album of 2023, and I’m sure you’d be enamored with it too

You should do something from Ulcerate’s everything is fire. Some of the metric modulation stuff is confusing.

Any Calculating Infinity riffs you want to cover? Listening to Destro's Secret at the moment and just had the idea to ask, since I liked your Catch 33 analyses.

Awesome stuff. Could you do a vid on A Voyage With Twin Meteors by Scar Symmetry? Messes with signatures and tempos in simple but disorienting ways.
