Amazing lesson man! I noticed that Opeth use the strumming pattern at 33:57 a lot, and I was wondering how you get those muted notes to sound so clean? I get a lot of unwanted harmonics ringing out from the dead strings.
@TurrigenousOfficial3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It’s hard to see because I’m doing it very quickly, but to not get harmonics you have to mute the strings in more than one place. So as I keep my fingers on the strings but don’t press hard enough for them to ring, I may also (depending on the chord and finger availability) get my pinky to cover the strings in addition. Make sense? It’s totally one of those things that’s tricky at first but is intuitive once you get the hang of it
