Jared is the coolest superstar to ever walk this god forsaken planet. I met him in San Diego in 2018 and he opened his guitar case HANDED ME HIS #1 and said warm this up for me while we get settled in. I have pictures. His Fiancé is just as humble and awesome as he is as we sat together to watch the show. Simply an amazing man. He acted as he was just one of the boys there to put on a show! Of all the superstars I have met JARED was the most humble approachable cats ever. Will never forget his arm around me as I held #1

Great story...I met him in Oklahoma City when he opened for John 5 and is was the coolest, laid back guy ever. I asked him how the calluses on his thumb where from playing like that and he grabbed my hand and said “check it out bro”...we talked about other players we loved and he couldn’t have been nicer.

Can't help but cheer for good guys like this. Not only a monster play, but just a total stud. Met him at NAMM Jan '20. He took the time to talk with me when I passed him and said hi. He’s a great Player who works hard on his career and brand. These guitars are as good as they look. The gold top was a great way to extend this... great design. I think it’s popular because it’s really a ‘fancy’ version of a LPJunior. Many people play juniors, but want a bit more girth. These have it. They really resonate and vibrate the room more than other Les Pauls. They really do take on a thick tone when overdriven. They are all mahogany which helps.

With a little tweaking, these guitars are totally professional instruments I had my neck sanded down a bit and added a Faber aluminum tailpiece It just happens to be a guitar similar to what I’ve played in the past, so I went for it and I’m very happy I did.

I love how he just uses the same minor pentatonic scale that we all learned as our first scale- then through his arrangement, bending, vibrato, tone pot control turned it into something magical and magnificent. Bravo! I love to hear him play and I can feel his love for the guitar. Inspiring to say the least.

GIVE US THE JJ NICHOLS 1953 Custom Shop Historic Reissue Red Les Paul Standard. Not that this gold top isn't sweet. But, I would take out a loan just to own that same 1953 LP. Best live tone I've ever seen in my life! Jared is one of, if not, the best guitarists of our current generation.

just blown away by this playing. I'd heard JJN's music a lot but for some reason had never actually seen the guy or heard him talk - what a thoroughly nice dude he seems to be! And those riffs are just so sweet and useable. There's a definite nod to the intro to "Hey Joe" in the the final run part of the first tune (Baby Can You Feel It) that I really loved. The best thing was that droning G string trick in the final riff , that's just genius - definitely going to steal that one (will probably spend most of the day noodling around on it).
