Hes not underrated. Hes signed to a major label to record and distribute music. Hes appreciated by his niche and nothing hes doing is going to wow guitar nerds just as Robert Smiths doings dont raise any virtuoso brows. Not everyone is going to laud everything loudly.

His playing style is more focused on technique than technical. More making it about feeling what's being played than blistering fast fretboard runs.

Billy is an incredible musician. When he's playing you can always tell. No matter if it's apc or ashes divide his style is very distinct. Privileged to see apc a few times now and they never disappoint. Each album is different in some way but is a masterpiece every time.

After the amazing work that was the first two albums I don't think Billy's ever going to be able to make the old fans happy. Hopefully this constant moving forward will move in a direction that I like again. If not, I admire him for doing what he wants.

I've got one the same guitar with the same Pickups in it. They say Tone is in the fingers but Holy smokes!!! the APC tone is in them Pickups! they dont sound like anything else.
