I would LOVE to see a breakdown like this of their song The Hollow. The harmony during the chorus is just unreal. SO captivating....starting with that kinda twinkly descending motif, followed by these chiming long notes that give the whole thing an almost shoegaze tone....like if My Bloody Valentine wrote an alternative rock/metal tune....

Notice the headstock right above the nut is totally wrecked. Trent Reznor smashed it when Billy was his tech, so he glued it back on and has been using it ever since.

I was front row at an APC show in 2004, all of my friends and I went, and we were having the time of our lives. I yelled out "BILLY! WHY DO YOU KICK SO MUCH ASS!?" and he giggled then held his hands up and shook his head "I don't know I just do." Billy is the best.

I've always had a much higher appreciation for creativity and emotional strength in musicianship than technical proficiency and speed, although B.H. is clearly a very skilled player. Keep in mind he's more of a tech than a virtuoso, and it shows with his brilliant tones and effects choices.

Unbelievable. Mer De Noms will forever be one of the best albums in the WORLD ! I still marvel at my two Mer De Noms (original) T-shirts that are brand new that I have in my collection. Billy Howerdel is one of the best artists in the world (cause he and maynard wrote it) and its also not about people, its about ART only !!!!!

Love Billy! Saw them in Atl for the first APC tour and they were spot on. Seems like that necks been snapped and glued back on. Looks all Fd up past the nut. I wouldnt doubt it being its common on LPs especially if ur a touring pro musician.

1994 Les Paul Classic, limited edition Cinnamon Burst. The guy who toured with Faith No More on their album King For A Day... Fool for a Lifetime used an identical one as his main as well. As I believe did Reznor or Robin from NIN back then.
