Summer is over-time to get back to evil school with Harry, Hermione, Ron, Sirius Black, Mrs. McGonagall, Filch, Splat, Wang, Timothy Q. Diaperhat, Professor Waddle Von Funkenskull, The Right Reverend Boo Smoothandle, Dr. and Mrs. Walrus V. Chowderboot and all the rest! This time around (the 6th, if we're not mistaken) Harry must battle an ancient curse and the desire to play Quidditch for three quarters of the film. Ron, in the meantime, discovers that his face is capable of hideous contortions as yet unexplored, Dumbledore awakes to find that he's gained a good deal of weight, and respected actress Emma Thompson sets out to prove that the respect is wholly misplaced.
Thankfully, this movie has been certified 100 percent Dobby-free!

2 things. 1. Major respect for Alan Rickmam during this scene. The man had to come out of a closet, wear drag, and do it all with a straight face. 2. That fucking clown was scarier than anything else. It looked like the face of pure evil. The kind of creature that even the Joker would get a little nervous looking at.

Why would the teacher stop the class after Harry's fear is exposed when giant spiders or snakes are fine ? Did he fear the Boggart would behave like a Death Eater ? Or did he believe Harry couldn't stop it no matter what ? (haven't seen this movie nor read the book and I have a limited knowledge of all the details in the way the Harry Potter universe works, so sorry if my question here sounds stupid)

In the book, Lupin (the teacher) didn't let Harry face the boggart in fear of it turning into Lord Voldemort and scaring the class. Later, it's found out that Harry's boggart would actually turn into a dementor, like in the movie scene, meaning that Harry is most afraid of fear itself. Not sure why they changed the scene in the movie, but I guess here Lupin intervened in fear of Harry passing out again like how he did the first time he faced a dementor, as they have a stronger effect on him because of his traumatic past. And I guess he stopped the class because everyone saw Lupin's fear and got scared they would find out that he's a werewolf?
