It’s like having your ears set on fire and then a tub of soothing cooling gel that was just taken out of the freezer and dumped on them. Every moment I don’t hear this jackass strumming chords and plucking random notes as fast as his meth-fingers can flick around is like heaven!!! Ughhhhh… this RiffTrax is UNWATCHABLE! I just can’t do it, I love music, I appreciate many genres and I am also a guitar player and worked in the music industry and it’s pure torture listening to this tweaker furiously rape an acoustic guitar!!! 🤬

Fun fact: The carnival scenes were filmed at the Los Angeles County Fair on the QT, as they didn't have permits to film. So for a couple of days in the early 1990s fairgoers were treated to the spectacle of Joe Estevez wandering, bellowing and pointing at random places like a schizophrenic. Another fun fact: The voice of Rollergator is none other than writer/producer/director/sadist Donald L. Jackson. If you're asking for his GPS coordinates for triangulation, I'm sorry to inform you that he died in 2003, and I won't be party to grave desecration. A final, sobering fact: According to IMDB, Joe Estevez has had 306 movie appearances. He may just be a sausage maker, but he's made a lot of sausage. A final, final fact (serious): According to IMDB Sandra Shuker's only other film credit was as a sound assistant on Night Eyes 4: Fatal Passion (1996). If the movie didn't kill you, this factoid might as well.

I still can't get over how they had that guitar in the background of nearly the entire movie, without any regard for what's happening during the movie. There is absolutely zero emotional connection between what's happening and the soundtrack. They just had it play on a loop in the background. It's one of the more bizarre choices I've come across in one of these grade z movies, and that's saying something.

I've watched a ton of Rifftrax and Mystery 3000 and all the movies had something redeemable about them. Torgo is hysterical. The lead in Birdemic is so bad he's funny. The Room has Tommy Wiseau talking. This "film" is the most painful I have ever experienced. The guitar. The puppet's voice. Every line of dialogue. Every scene with Estevez. Every moment is maniacal. A ten year old with no script could make a better movie. It's literally beyond unwatchable.

@@theboombody , Catching Trouble was shown as a short feature before the main film, which was the 1972 Disney re-release of Song of the South. Talk about problematic! As for Buffalo Rider, it was showing in 1976 at the first two-screen theater in my town, with the other screen showing the Who's rock opera Tommy. My mom dropped my two older brothers and me off after buying us tickets for Buffalo Rider. After about an hour of intense buffalo-riding boredom, Tommy started next door and my brothers talked my eleven-year-old self into jumping theaters to go see it. My first R-rated film and it was a *doozy*, I think I was traumatized for life, lol.

@@FumbleAIBO Awesome. I loved that story. I will always be in awe of Buffalo Rider though. There hasn't been a movie like that before and there will never be a movie like that again. Buffalos were rare then and are still rare now, and I don't think you can get away with showing so much animal-on-animal or animal-on-human violence in a movie anymore unless it's CGI.
