Hey Jay thanks for the podcast. FYI, I sent Pap a IG message on how he works up a load for any particular rifle. It comes up often when he is talking about how a rifle build performs. As a recreational hunter and shooter, but one who likes to play around to get an accurate hunting load, this finding the best load for a rifle is a bit daunting; ie lots of variables, which ones are most important? Maybe a question for him in the future or if you have some insight already you might have a link or system for working up an accurate load for a given rifle.

Thanks Jim. Definitely out of my pay grade but we can dive into it in round 2.

Another awesome podcast episode. So much useful information in this. Also, super jealous of a $40 sheep tag!! If I want to hunt sheep here in the states there's basically 3 options. Live til I'm 200 years old and build points for most states, get lucky with odds on par with wining the powerball, or pay $50k.

I was wondering what I should watch after Spring yard chores (crazy hot here this past week in Ontario, but ending tomorrow) and after dinner.....so now I can look forward to pouring a glass of wine and watching the latest epic MH podcast this evening! Woohoo!

@@MindfulHunter Only podcast I ever watch/listen to! Definitely both entertaining and informative. Bonus that it's a fellow Canuckian too! LOL BTW...I did order and receive an EXO K4 pack. Went for the 5000ci version....will get the 1800 day bag when they release it this summer. Loved your review of it.....I had already ordered it, but it did validate my decision to wait for the K4, so big thanks for that.

Hey! Im a pretty new subscriber. Ive watched a few of your videos including the podcast about your life and struggles with addiction. I too am currently trying to stay sober at 26 years old. Anyway, I have been hunting since i was 8 with my dad and brother in Montana. Its definitely changed 10 fold. Seeing the places i grew up hunting now packed with people. Ive wanted to start back pack hunting to get away from everyone. Im trying to save up enough money for this year to buy adequate gear to actually go and do it! Thank you for making all of these videos providing so much useful information. As well as being someone i can look up to and a great role model. Keep it up! 🤘

For a drop in stock I picked to a boyds rifle stock for my ruger 7mm. There made any shipped from Canada so there isn't and customs payment for any one in Canada. Also I would be careful of a folding stock, especially with our present government and all of the gun issues we are having.

I really like my "at one" from them. It is a laminated stock so it is a bit heavier but it has an adjustable forend and cheek rest. For making a good solid rest
