Hey Ola! I use the TC Body rez since years in front of my amp. Even though it is made for Acoustic guitar it can totally transform the sound of your amp. It gets fatter and more comrpessed. i love it. it sounds a bit like a more turned up amp ... it would be cool if you test it yourself :) (Or generally eq + compressor in front of an amp is such an powerful tool) greetings the off-topic bommel

Celeon Güpayer seriously lol I used to have a purpose-built music room with cloth and foam walls to help deaden the sound, double glazed windows, the whole deal. I would get in there, put in some ear plugs and play at concert level volume lol great times 👌🏻 plus my tube amp always sounds better at full volume

pre-covid I would fly with the dual terror and play it at shows with an EVH 5150 pedal, the pedal allowed me to shape more tone. It gave me a good metal/hardcore tone and the dual terror was light enough to put in a checked suitcase. As long as the show was mic'd I didnt have a problem with volume. I have recorded and played many shows with the dual terror. It can definitely do metal and be punchy and loud enough if you put a good overdrive with it. Plus it looks cool! Hope this helps anyone interested

Youre so right with the EQ. On my rig with that head i run an MXR 6 band EQ and a TS9 thru a EHX silencer that has a built in FX loop. I get crazy metal tones when you dial it in just right.

Yeah, he first had a 2x12 with Vintage 30s under his Engl head but he later replaced it with a Mesa 2x12 and finally the Hesu!

Cut a piece of that foam that seymour duncan pickups have in the pickup box poke a hole in it and cut it to fit your volume knob n stick it under the knob. I did that on my yngwie strat

Had the same issue with my strat, I too felt that the volume knob was in my way too often so I took the pot off and changed the guitar into 1x volume 1x tone configuration

Dear Ola, this segment is awesome, i love orange sound so controlled and balance, btw i want to make a suggestion: I think for this section and maybe other ones you should have a pedalboard in the floor with the basics pedals, chorus, overdrive, delay and reverb, or something like an line 6 m5,m13, in order to feel the amps in crunch and leads and maybe clean tones for more pleasure , definetly a good add to the section to make it more complete. Love u man

That’s almost my rig! HSS Fender American Elite Strat, Multi-Watt Mesa Dual Rec, Oversized 4x12. Just add a tube screamer and a gate and you’re all set. Very versatile!

Hey Ola! You can put rubber rings under the volume knobs to give it a bit of drag so when playing you won't accidently turn yourself down. Paul Gilbert does this with his pedals so his knobs won't move between shows due to taking apart and putting his pedal board back together.

Ola! I had the same problem with my Strat volume. I cut out a round piece of foam and put it under the knob. I have not had the problem since.

A neat trick w/Strat's volume knobs to keep them from turning on you during playing is to glue a rubber washer from any hardware store to the bottom of the knob. You're still able to turn the knob willingly but it won't slip on you while playing anymore! ;)

It seems this amp forces you to use an EQ pedal if you want to tweak you tone further + a boost pedal, overall the sound of Orange amps is very enjoyable.
