In all fairness - THREE KNOBS. but good on ola. It has Volume, some sort of tone modulation, and Gain. Brilliant for teaching someone the important parts (honestly, pre and post gain confused the shit out of me until I finally survived an electronics course in my late 20's). Thank you Brent Hinds for branding this thing and having it exist. lol

she did better than I did with a tube amp that had a standby setting. I remember thinking that shit was broken. Also as soon as I found out gain gave you a distorted sound.. it went all the way up. Finally instead of giving my tone a "cutting" sound, I turned the shape or contour all the way until it would be what I now realize would be considered "muddy". Great Job Louise.. (hope I spelled that right).

You have to try the orange jim root terror signature, it's basically a dark terror tube business end with the rockeverb 50 preamp section popped into the circuit. This little amp has so much gain, is so universal due to the more flexible, 3 band eq and has such a punch it's unbelievable. As an user, I can not ephasize how much I recommend it. Love the wife addition to the will it chug series!

Joe schmo tip: If you want a hands free way to dial in your tone, get it close and then loop your chug or riff or lead line you want to dial in for and as the loop is going tweak your dials.
