Lmao at everyone criticizing her playing. A) it's a punk band and B) she's a professional musician and you're not. This is a great band and a cool rundown
@brutallyhonestrealist5442 жыл бұрын
Funny of you to assume that professional musicians are super rare or something. Not a knock on her but even bands that only play the low string on their 7-8 string guitars and mumble rappers are considered “Professional”. 🤦🏻♂️

The Hoof and Box of Rocks were two of my first pedals choices, as well.I know that back when I was actively playing out a lot, and rehearsing, that I rarely had the time or energy to do much gear hunting, and tended to stay with what I knew worked.Over the years, as gear has become more expansive and refined, my opinion of what a great Fuzz or Drive sound is has changed repeatedly and dramatically.As with other pedals and amps, the more you are exposed to, the more you see what is really possible; one thing I wish I'd learned sooner is how much the amp and the speaker cabs matter.Probably more important than the instrument itself.Don't let the technical aspects of amps(cabs/ impedance/ ohm ratings / tubes) detur you; it's really not that complicated.

This is not a top tier band. It’s an indie band. I looked up their live performances and they sound good. It’s good to see what gear musicians use. Not everybody can afford a rackmount gear. I’ve picked up so many tricks watching these videos. Anybody who keeps commenting on the lack of playing ability are just insecure. That’s the beauty of electric guitar-there are no standards and no academic “this is how you play” guitar. Better this than sterile harmonic minor shredding up and down the neck. Loll
