Lots good bits up that way to fish. Up thr Lanes there as some proper nice trout to be had.

This is where the Ayrshire Angling Association hold their annual Trout Fishing competition. I have fished this Loch since I was 5/6 years old and came 2nd in 2021 with 3lb brown trout and won the heaviest fish trophy. It fishes at a certain time of year and you need fish specific areas. That dam area being one of the least favourable areas. If you are ever fishing it again, give me a shout and I’d be happy to assist ☺️. All the best.
