Yes, nice balance. I really like your tutorial style even though I'm not big on low-poly stuff or sculpting. I love a good Ian Hubert or Blender Binge "bus catching" tutorial but those are hard to keep up with. On the other hand It's tough to stay focused making a donut for 4 hours with "other" tutorials ;) But I've always thought you've found the perfect balance: not running for the bus, but not wandering down alleys and into thrift shops and stopping for lunch (or a donut?) either. Thanks.

Right-click and select “Merge Vertices”. From the new options displayed, click “by distance”. then try to parent mesh with bones again. i hope it helps!

And all of a sudden I find myself having hours and hours of fun modelling sea shacks, chess pieces, elephants, ray guns and now low poly (it´s probably "polygonically challenged") people , all thanks to you. You are really an exceptional teacher. Thanks a ton, Grant, I really appreciate the enormous amount of effort and time you put into these tutorials. @nikhilknixon73514 жыл бұрын
Don't add new shapes while in edit mode. Instead go to Object mode ---> Add ---> Mesh --->Cube or Circle or whatever. Then we will get separate objects. But when we do it in edit mode, it whole body acts as a single object, so you can't select the hand individually. TRY IT!!! HOPE IT HELPS...😊😊😊
@LemonGrinder4 жыл бұрын
I had that issue too, since I originally made my character as one object. Luckily you can solve this by separating your original character into individual objects by selecting the vertices and turning them into their own objects!
