Right In the Middle of a Busy Highway‼️

HAHA, Yup we loading lumber in the middle of a Busy highway What better place to load it i ask..
Bought this Reitnouer trailer at an auction a couple years ago Chris pulls it and complains about it not pulling good. Well now we get why. The dagone 5th wheel plate is crapped out on it and the King pin came plum loose on it and the trailer fell off the 5th wheel and slid down onto the truck frame in the middle of bowling green Ky.

Holy balls Wade, This old Wrecker Service guy once told me, that in all his 50 years of heavy towing, he never seen a trailer pin shear off. He said usually the 5th wheel will tear loose from the tractor. Good job recovery.

Interesting seeing this done with a payloader i do this most all day long, but with a large forklift at a drying operation over in Greenville, Pa. One thing the lumber industry is never dull.

Hello; Bout the time you came to be I was hauling steel suicide coils to the John Deere plant in the quad cities and had one break a band. All I had was chains and binders. It took a while but I got it to where it wasn't flapping in the wind and Smokey let me go. The two good things were it wasn't cold or raining. All on the west bound side of I-80. One of the bennies of being a trucker. Great viggie.

Very well done wade. No one hurt and lumber transferred without any problems. Wade you run Blackie like my son used to run his vehicle. He would and knew to the 10th.that his vehicle would run out of gas. I on the other hand start getting nervous when I get down to a half a tank. Great video. God Bless To All.

Had one break loose from the trailer frame once at a toll booth on a tanker. It was rusted out and the way the fenders where mounted on it you couldn’t see it.
