I live near Lagrange IN. They are logging a woods near me. As I drove by the other day I could see a skidder zig zagging back and forth to get enough traction to drag a big log to the roadside. I can only imagine what trouble a low boy would be. I can understand getting short.

The way the cutter slid on the lowboy is why we always put the chains across the track frame front and back on the excavators. There's an eye to put the chain through on the frame right in the center on each side too which helps a bunch. Never seen one slide on the trailer but you never know.

You done alright Wade,moved the machine from the landing to the mill,didn't break or lose anything ,and gave yourself a few more gray hairs,,it's all good!! I've pulled trackhoes and dozers off pipeline jobs here in the north central part of Pennsylvania in the mud and in the snow and ice,and I've got a full head of gray hairs to prove it!! Now,you go home,kick back in your chair,with a cold beer or a glass or bourbon on ice,and relax,and wonder what kind of new adventures tomorrow is gonna bring!!😎😎😎
