Really guys... I should have taken pictures of the box that arrived through USPS. One corner was collapsed from lateral force and enough scuff marks to make me wonder what else was done. NO damage to the anime box sets. 👍

Sure the Chipboard Box and it's contents are likely all fine. What I'm skeptic of is the DVD/Blu-ray disc and the plastic tabs that hold them within their cases. There have been multiple times where I've purchased DVD's/Blu-rays where the exterior is perfectly fine. No scratches, dents, scuffs, dings, etc. However, upon opening and getting to the disc the tabs that hold them are broken. This causes the disc to shuffle around scratching it and possibly causing it to skip or worse case not playing at all. What these Chipboard units have going for them is the contents are already boxed. If you'd done this with a none Chipboard product where it's just a standard case I'd believe my above mentions may actually happen or end up as a result. Just another reason why it can pay to pay more for a Chipboard Edition. With having said that I admit you do a fantastic job boxing merchandise. The cardboard housing insert keeps the contents mostly stationary with the help from the wrapping paper. Be that as it may I would one day like to see foam slabs or bubble wrap used as layering for the bottom as well as the top. This is just my thoughts on your packaging Rightstuf. Continue bringing we the fans great products and packaging our merchandise with care.

You brought up some great points! Just to be sure, I grabbed this box set off the shelf and checked the discs. Everything stayed perfectly in place, but we'll be more thorough showing the end result next time. We like using cardboard inserts and paper because they're recyclable, but we appreciate all of the feedback you have given us! 😃

@@RightStufAnime Your welcome anytime you guys. It's a proverb I stand by, If you don't say anything nothing will ever change so speak a open mind. The thing is not enough people do so and if they do it's generally not in a polite or respectful manner. Anyway going off topic so to get back on track. Glad to see you grabbed the box set off the shelf for a further inspection. As tightly form fitting as the packaging was I'd been really shocked if anything suffered damage. I've bought numerous series, box sets, novels, manga, etc from you over the past few years. Admittedly I've been lucky to not have suffered any problems so great job by you guys. It's just I felt I should point out these potential concerns as I haven't been so fortunate from other retailers. These range from crimped box sets where it's cracked the case for the disc, broken the locking tabs, ruined/damaged the disc, etc. As a company I understand and can back & get behind wanting to be environmentally friendly due to cardboard being a recyclable vs plastics. Now this is just something I'll throw your way and maybe you can look into it on your own time. I myself work in a manufacturing department and we use flexible polyolefins or FPO for short which is a special film made with a large amount of natural minerals. In short it's a highly deemed Eco-friendly material that is grease/waterproof, light resistant, & tear/puncture resistant.

I just recently bought the Kaguya-Sama manga bundle (1-4) and Steins Gate complete collection blu-ray. When my order arrived their was a decent puncture on one of the sides of the box and my first thoughts were “noooo why usps how could you do that to my products” but upon opening the box I was amazed, surprised and glad that my items were in no way or shape damaged. So I appreciate very much the care and effort you all put into your customers items, i will for sure keep buying from you guys a lot.

Trying to buy the newer tokusatsu DVD/bluray sets in retail is difficult. I pretty much have to shop online to get these kinds of sets and Amazon has been infuriating to deal with. I've been trying to get a new Ultraman boxed set, and they keep shipping them in some really lousy bubble envelopes. I keep having to return/exchange these because they arrive damaged with cracked cases of loose discs that are all scratched up. I just ordered a newer Kamen Rider set from Right Stuf, and I really hope it arrives in good condition.
