Generally, when you put in a new tray, your teeth will feel sore. It can be uncomfortable putting trays in and taking them out. Please contact your dentist with any specific questions or if the soreness continues. Good luck with your treatment.

These are all great tips, especially the warning not to remove your invisible braces from just one side. This may loosen and distort your trays, which seem to be more fragile than people believe. We hear (and see) all the time people asking why their clear aligners are not tracking well, and wonder if this could be a reason why?
@9988ScooterGirl
@9988ScooterGirl 4 жыл бұрын
SmartTrak material will not distort from twisting. It first has to be heated to glass transition temp and THEN manipulated though at that point it will have lost it's structural integrity.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad that the information was helpful to you. I understand that actually putting the information into practice can sometimes be more challenging than it may seem in a video or other instructional materials. It's important to keep in mind that everyone's teeth and jaw structures are different, and what works well for one person may not work as well for another. It can take some time and patience to get the hang of using aligners, and it is normal to encounter some difficulties. It is important to note that, if it seems very difficult or uncomfortable to use, it is always best to consult your orthodontist to address any issue and make sure that the aligners fit properly and your treatment is on track.

Day 3 here, I am mostly concerned because I have one big filling that my dentist once said we'd have to remove and put a crown on because it is just too large, and it would fall off at one point. Question.. if the cutting (like the edges) of the retainer are cut(?) Wrong, short maybe, will it effect how easy/hard for me to take it out? Cause the left side for both top and bottom is so hard for me to pull. I looked closely and compared both sides (left and right) and it /is/ different. The right side, which i always have trouble with looks slightly shorter/more dented compare to the left side (both top and bottom).

You can loosen the easier side in the back first, then the harder side, then use your nails to lift the tray up for the front teeth.

Hey doctor I got my Invisalign today and I’m super anxious as I was having so much trouble taking out as after they put the attachments in they spent more time showing me how to take my own scans each week on the dental monitoring app. They than said I don’t need to come back for 20 weeks as it is now all done online and that if the scan say I need to use my Invisalign for another week they will tell me. But I’m really stressed as one of those attachments came off my teeth today when I was trying to get out my Invisalign. And now it’s Christmas and they are closed I hope this not affect me. I’m quite annoyed that I have to do my own scans now as that seems just as hard as getting these blooming things out. So sad today

TrayMinder thank you for the reply! I found a technique that worked for me. I pull from both ends of the tray and slowly pop off. I'm kind of worried. I have my first set of invisalign, and I think I may have stretched the aligner, because I just tried to take it out without touching the front part of the aligner. (which is where it's stuck). Now my aligner goes in easily, and I feel no pain. Just a slight pressure.... Is there a chance I damaged my aligners? I took it out about 2-3 times like this today, But on the 4th time I did it like the video said, and it came off easy. I will ask in 2 days time on my new appointment but just wanted a quick opinion, if it's normal to not feel any pain the first full day.......

@@parkavir8989 Well I can’t remember. But I kept using them until I had to change them again. This time I was careful on removing them. Everyone’s different. Cause your teeth are in different places. Anyways, it was fine. For me I only felt slight pressure if any, when going up an aligner. No pain whatsoever. Honestly you get used to it. The pain if you even want to call it that was only the first few hours of my first aligner, for me personally. But it’s like your body adapts. No pain at all and for me I barely notice soreness/ pressure when I change them.
