The FCC "Broadcast News Distortion" jurisdiction and regs need to be extended to cable, satellite & internet programs (now limited to "over-the-air" broadcasts) for fairness and to prevent the yellow journalism of Fox & Sinclair which is outside free speech protections (e.g. defamation, deliberate lies, inciting violence or risks to public safety, hate speech, etc.). Write your Congressman to amend that FCC law.

I quit watching a local Providence, Rhode Island channel when they started to broadcast Boris Epschteyn's "editorials" and show puff-pieces from places like Iowa which had NO local ties. Boris is one of Trump's many indicted co-conspirators and he claims to be a lawyer. But he was a daily feature on all Sinclair "news" broadcasts just after Trump was elected in 2016 and I could hear the Russian propaganda spurting out of his pie-hole. I will never watch that channel again and neither will many locals. It's not about US..

WIRY 1340 AM RADIO in Plattsburgh NY plays Sinclair News every half hour where they used to use AP and CNN every hour . Their music is top notch 70s -80s rock with a lot of hardly played songs and really cheesy commercials . But since Trumps election loss they've lost DJ after DJ and ad revenue because of the decidely right wing bias made by the Station Owner and Editorial Director Dave Andrews . I thought that his anti Authority and anti Democratic leanings were that of a Libertarian because the Station played such really diverse and good music . I guess the hatred one has for others that are different from you burned a Good Radio Station asunder . Sinclair is as dangerous as FOX but not as Stupid and showy . The Stealh Propaganda Networks of Sinclair are helping destroy Democracy in America and must be stopped .

It's called the Montreal Cognitive Assessment test MoCA. It was developed by a neurologist from Montreal. He said what trump claims to be on the test, is not on the test or that sequence of animals is not on it. I also noticed that trump will brag about passing this "complicated" math problem that he blurts out at his rallies to his supporters, but whenever he says the numbers they always change. Then he says only 2% of people can pass it and that he passed it. He says to his supporters that they wouldn't be able to get the right answer, and these supporters still cheer him on. It's really something not of this earth. Like Nicolle says "earth 2."

This can be directly blamed on Ronald Reagan for revoking the Fairness doctrine in 1987. The Fairness Doctrine was a policy introduced by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in 1949 that required broadcasters to present controversial issues of public importance in a manner that was honest, equitable, and balanced. The doctrine aimed to ensure that differing viewpoints were represented on public airwaves, but it was abolished in 1987.

The FCC has a clear enforceable "Broadcast News Distortion" regulation to prevent lies or distortions of serious news events, but currently limited jurisdiction only to "over-the-air" broadcasts.
