I'm a dispensationalist, as of the last 5 years, so I disagree with some of the core interpretations of scripture that these guys tend to have. Having said that, these are definitely my people, my brothers in Christ, and I am so grateful that these men are speaking up as they are. I include them in my prayers when I give thanks to the LORD.

Someone posted about 20 seconds of this speech. It’s a blessing when someone presents something out of context so we can be encouraged to listen in entirety.

He's not a prophet as Christ alone now fills that office. We have the more sure word to instruct us. He is a man of God who has discernment of the times we live in and has boldness to combat the lies.

This is probably one of your best sermons...and ironically, I found to the link to it on a Facebook page that was trying to denigrate postmillennialism.

I know that Pastor Webbon is a cessationist....but when he speaks I hear the voice of a Prophet

You hear the voice of a fake-Christian, hate-mongering bigot.

Those in the cessationist camp would argue that one can be prophetic without being a prophet or having actual prophecy.

Someone who says what is true because they aren’t controlled by what other people think or worried about being insensitive.

@@ervabarnesthese guys clearly are a 21st-century invention. They are a reactionary cult that is reacting to modern American culture and making up long-winded speeches to justify their fear of others. They want to overlay modern American culture onto the Bible and implement a legal system that I assume would punish people for violating any biblical rule. Such a system shouldn’t happen here because not only is it illegal, it completely goes against the idea of your freedom to choose to believe and substitute it for a state mandated imposter religion. This is not following “The Way”, but following some bureaucratically officiated version of the Bible. What baffles me most as how these gentlemen don’t see this. They want to reclaim a culture that never existed, because the world has never been a Christian world and there has never been a Christian nation because that would be impossible. It is a person that becomes a Christian, a follower of Christ, not a nation. Was Rome a Christian nation? In fact, most of the time Rome was hostile to Christianity. Was the Holy Roman Empire holy or Roman or an empire? Even the nation of Israel was often criticized by the prophets for falling away from God. Even the Bible itself says that many will say Lord Lord and he will say I never knew you. My point is that the world is hostile to Christianity, and living in a nation where you have the freedom to practice whatever religion you wish is really a miracle and a blessing. You CANNOT create a nation that reinforces religion at the end of a gun barrel and expect that this religion will be the same as one practiced by those who are actually free. There is a big difference between civil obedience to God and righteous obedience to God. If these people think they are saving souls with this kind of behavior, they are so sadly mistaken. It’s a real simple answer - love God and love your neighbor. All of this other stuff is human garbage that has been layered on top of the word of God.

That's because the Christian Nationalists are losing. They may be active online, but on the whole it isn't a popular movement (outside of maybe some academic circles where scholars enjoy highlighting Christian extremists).

He literally addresses that claim in the speech. Either address that defense or shut up and save your words for something useful.

His addressing prosperity Gospel is just a cover up for spewing his own version of it. I’ve listened to the speech. This whole “macho-Christianity” angle is just prosperity gospel using manhood instead of wealth. Instead of God blessing people with wealth, as in prosperity gospel teaching, he blesses macho men with power. Neither wealth nor power is what Jesus was after.
