Where are people digitally congregating to discuss Christian Boroughs? It's hard to identify these growing communities
@WillNelson733 ай бұрын
All the talks were good, but this particular speech spoke about the actual “boring” day to day work and challenges of making REAL communities. There can be no half measures. It will take real culture change. As for where to congregate online, that kind of misses the entire point, but you may want to join the patreon of one of the either Kings Hall or Haunted Cosmos to get a little bit

One longer term issue he missed here is getting the children, who are raised in the boroughs, married. Sounds far fetched now because most of the families have small children. But now is a good time to begin thinking about it because you want to be able to pass this to the next generation successfully. In my opinion, that means many families need to consider having a form of arranged marriages like in the old days.

@@eazynelly9785 I’m talking about the next generation. I know that’s a somewhat long way off, but in the long term brother need to think in terms of marriage being an expansion of the family in order to keep these boroughs going generation after generation

Why would someone marry a person they do not love? Arranged marriages are foolish.
@WillNelson733 ай бұрын
@@AlexSmith-fj2zn you’re confusing marrying a complete stranger (like in the movies) with an arranged marriage where the fathers are involved in setting up the courtship process with a suitable match. In the process the potential couple would meet on several occasions for however long. In tight communities, you not only know the girl/guy but also the family they’re joining. And the girl/guy is also free to reject the match if he/she is not appealing, and start the process over. In patriarchy, the father is involved in the process and doesn’t send his daughter out to seek a mate on her own like we now do in the modern west - even in religious families. Finally, I don’t believe you necessarily need to be head over heels in love with a suitable match. That would grow with time - even after marriage. This is how matches were made in the Christian west before modern times and feminism

@@WillNelson73 Duggarite dating??? Haven't y'all learned anything in the last 10 years? Women especially are leaving your appalling and sexist belief system. After all, covering up molestation, child porn, child beatings, gayness, and abusive husbands is how y'all roll. My father was the LAST PERSON I would want to pick a partner for me. Nasty. Just watch the Duggar Daddy on his show, as he guffaws, slobbers, and gropes his wife while smirking at his daughter and her fiance. It was horrendous and so embarrassing.
