Lovely reaction to a amazing song from two of the greatest singers ever .

It is amazing how many ladies, reacting to this song, have said some version of "if I had been born back then . . . ." The glory of heaven is that the great talents of all the ages will be ours to enjoy, all in the same time and place. Hope my heart can take it!

Thanks! I have long wondered what the venue was for this performance. Do you happen to know, was this the same venue as the other live performances with videos on KZbin: "Unchained Melody" and "You've Lost That Loving Feeling"?

You're so cute with your emotional reactions. Even though I appreciate today's pop music, even some rap, I can't remember ever getting emotional and dreamy listening to it.

Your appreciation for The Righteous Brothers is wonderfully genuine. Their quasi-conversational vocal deliveries are uniquely effective. Particularly with their female listeners. The Righteous Brothers were a fixture in my house when I was growing up in the 60's. We loved 'em. . It warms my heart to see that you, D.M love them too :-) I really enjoyed your reaction, and thanks for sharing. RNB

This was one of my husbands songs to dance to anywhere or anytime... He was a major Country Boy but once in awhile , I would play some of my music from the 60's and 70's and we would just have fun with it...

It always seems too short!! First song after Lovin Feeling. They had left producer Phil Spector and Bill (tall and deep) produced this one. And yes they harmonize beautifully. One of best duos ever. If you are in a blushing mood try I Just Want To Make Love To You. Audio only on Moonglow Records. It was recorded before they became famous. They were only about 24 or 25 when they made these recordings. Such mature voices. 💙
@cspringer3334 жыл бұрын
Bill just didn't get the "Wall of Sound" the Spector did. There is way too much reverb on this one. Reverb is one of Spector's main ingredients but Bill didn't have it down. Still a fantastic song!

Another classic from the Righteous Brothers. It's almost as though every one of their songs became a classic. Uuummm; so GOOD! And by the way...if I could make a suggestion...have you thought about making a playlist for each of the artist/groups/bands you'll be listening to? That way, you'll know with a couple of clicks what you have already listened to. It would probably be helpful, to, when we ask if you have played something yet, or not. Easier to check the playlist than a notebook. Anyway...WONDERFUL reaction! Can't wait for the next one!

Bill Medley, the deep voiced guy, also sang "Ive Had The Time Of My Life" with Jennifer Warnes from the movie "Dirty Dancing". Trivia, Bill married a BEAUTIFUL girl named Karen. They had a son Darrin and divorced when he was about 5 years old. When Darrin was 10, in 1976, Karen was raped and murdered and Bill took time off from his singing career to take care of his son. The case went unsolved until 2017 when Familial DNA was used to identify the killer, who turned out to be a sex offender named Kenneth Troyer, who had been killed by police in 1982.

Wow ... what a guy: chose his son over a lucrative career? Respect to the man who prioritizes family above all else! The trivia, much appreciated.👍🏼

@@MelindadelosSantos Karen had remarried and had another son, Damien, who went to live with his dad, although the boys remained close. When Damien’s dad was killed in a car accident some years later, Bill adopted Damien.

The problem with talking over a video is that you miss what's happening while you are talking. Maybe you should consider pausing the video 2 or 3 times to express your thoughts? This way you can hear the whole song, and not miss anything. It's great that you enjoy these songs from my era, you have so many great artists to look forward to hearing. It's going to be an exciting journey for you, and us as your audience. Most important is that you have fun! Welcome to the music I grew up listening to ✌️😎

trust me that time that you need about throwing something you're not saying anything that didn't happen back in the day when they were big women went crazy over those guys and they was all kinds of stuff being thrown up on stage and we won't go into detail about just exactly what some of it was.girls back then had a unique way of trying to tell a singer what they wanted and it was real effective.

It's back in them days with songs like this that the word groupies started catching on because so many girls would swim over these male singers and they just wanted to be with them so that kind of led to a lot of sexual contact between singers and their groupies.
