These kits have the best bang for buck! A goldmine of parts for kit bashing! You can not go wrong with a 1929 Ford Model A!!!!!

Very nice builds. As a young model builder I was always drawn to these AMT double kits because they were a good value, and young model builders dont have much in the way of a model budget. They are still a good marketing idea.

I like the two in ones, great review, I liked both being built at the same time, not review one then the other. I liked the comparison of the cars as they were being built. I've always liked cars from the '60s and older. Thanks.

Very cool! Just ordered mine - had to have one. My Dad learned to drive in a Model A. Also, the first time he went to jail was for hauling moonshine in one in the mid-30's! ROFL!

I really like the idea of building a 1930s era race car, that's something you don't normally see. A careful selection of vintage sponsor logos from certain decal sheets would do well on that version.

I loved this kit growing up and what a wonderful video you did! BUT it is a travesty that many model builders get the spark plug wire placement wrong on the old Dodge Red Ram, Chrysler Fire Power and DeSoto Fire Dome HEMI engines. In the middle of these valve covers are a long rectangular cover that shields the plug wires so you should drill a hole in the back end of the wire cover to push the four wires into. Many hemis of the 1950's leave these wire covers off and the plug wires would locate in four holes in the center of the valve covers. The 426 hemi never had plug wire covers.

This kit still contains alot of the original alakart parts but its still off from actually building an alakart but still its a great kit! Hopefully the guys at round 2 will restore those parts and give us that back instead of that reissue from several years back

Yes, Aoshima has some in it's range, JDM spec, including a police car. Check Hobby Search Japan's website.

Actually, Aoshima has two, Fujimi is the one that has the police car and a few other variants of the earlier model. The Aoshima one is the newest model.
