Before going into this video, I would like to thank everyone for 2,000 subscribers! I hit my goal of making 1,000 more in one year or less, which I am really happy about!
Alright, the ROR season is starting back up for me, and I know a lot of you are probably really excited about that.
Today we're using Grayson's C2. Why? I have no idea. I renumbered this bus 2976. Because the West Chicago and Carol Stream yards of Illinois Central have merged, I've gotten to see several different buses driving routes at my school. While the 2900 fleet of buses is mostly made up of IC CE's, I've figured out there's a couple Thomas C2 units mixed in there, 2976 being one of them.
Radio chatter is new, and was recorded from the Carol Stream channel. The West Chicago channel is no longer used, since all buses and drivers were moved to Carol Stream. This radio chatter from my Kenwood NX-800 transceiver. For those curious, the radio system I recorded from is a UHF frequency with FleetSync. The alert tone you hear is made by my radio because I have its FleetSync ID set to the same as what most of the bus radios use, causing it to go into selective call and making the alert tone every time a radio with the matching ID is transmitted on. This is identical operation to how many of the company's radios units work.
The radio transmissions between me and "base" in this video are fake, just so no one thinks I'm transmitting on a radio frequency illegally, impersonating a bus driver. The sounds were all recorded from my radio, but I simply spliced in recordings of my voice and the dispatcher's voices.
READ BEFORE COMMENTING:
1) You can download this game here: (Website down right now, no link)
2) The radio chatter DOES NOT come with the game! It is EDITED into the VIDEO. If you want the radio chatter, comment and I will email it, but you MUST give me credit if you use it anywhere online, as it's my radio and I recorded it.
