Yes, 1st grade in Miyu's case, since Mamo is 6 years older than him. Their moms are friends too, so they both used to go to each others homes to hang out. You could say they grew up together.

I still lol at the fact that in another universe, Riku is a stoic Gundam pilot and Sora is his civilian friend-turned initially-reluctant wingman when he starts flying the support unit, while "Riku" plays figurative wingman for Sora to his now crazy girlfriend.
