They were good choices of thrillers even though pies were lucky to be close against dees in kings birthday. Lions vs Crows at Gabba is something special. I think they will play each other at gabba next year.

Collingwood Geelong Round 1 is a bit stiff, free flowing and high scoring. Just because Pies ended up running away with it, that was one of the highest quality games of football of the year. Feel like sometimes close games are overrated just because they're close, like in some cases close games are terrible displays of footy but because the last 5 minutes are good its considered a great game. Anzac Day probably could've made the list as well.

With the Dawson high, in that game, Markov was taken high in the tackle that forced the final stoppage, so in truth Adelaide weren’t robbed as the ball shouldn’t have made it to Dawson

Considered it but not top 10 worthy imo, was a pretty ordinary game up until 3qt, hawks were all over them. Was a thrilling finish in the end.
