Thanks for the video, always great to hear author's thoughts on their own work. Good facilitation by Barbara as well. Cheers!

I have fallen in love with reading thanks to Rylie’s books and I always read them in one sitting. You should write one set in Savannah Georgia. That’s where I live and I think it would make for a very spooky southern vibe.

I read so many books that I forget the plots almost immediately. The reason I found this video was because I was looking for how old Casey was in the house across the lake. I was drawn to the video because I recently read the only one left, but I totally forgot what it was about. Lol I just read it recently. It’s not a judgment of how interesting the book was because I loved it. I just read so many that I forget the plots. Do you think that’s common? I’m in the middle of reading house across the lake right now and it’s got me Totally absorbed. I don’t know why, but I just had to say that peace and love.

Hmm.. strange. I mean, I read a lot too, maybe a book or two a week, but I remember the plots. Maybe not extreme details when it’s been weeks later. But, to not remember the plot at all?? Hmmm. Can’t believe I’m saying this, but maybe read a little less?? If you’re not absorbing what you’re reading… are you really reading, you know? (Not meant as a judgment, more of a genuine question btw)
