@@choc91Just curious, what makes you think it’s over rated? And are you talking about the case or the wooting in general? Personally I’m a huge mechanical keyboard enthusiast. My current daily is a matrix labs Corsa with custom carbon fiber plate, 1.6mm aftermarket PCB, BSUN X switches, and knight stabilizer V2. So on one hand I get it. Most people don’t know what true quality is in the realm of mechanical keyboards. That being said, I think the optimum case looks pretty damn good as far as Hall effect goes. I’m actually about to build one myself but I’m torn between choosing the wooting module or the geon venom 60HE. I’m also torn on waiting for the geon frog leggare or just picking up the optimum case. So I’m genuinely curious to hear your reasoning as well as any insight.

@@schwift6099 i would say most things about it, People glaze the quality it does feel very high quality and everything but I paid 360 cad for one which i dont feel like its worth it and the typing experience is not good at all and the web app is good but not that good where your paying 3x the price of a normal adjustable keyboard

The one thing that held me from grabbing it is, this would be for my 1st ever hall effect switch, so I wasn't sure I would like it. I'm a tactile guy myself overall, but the look of the keyboard stock. I know you can buy other cases etc, but that's a lot of money for something I'm not even sure I would like.

You can use other 60 percent PCBs, like the DZ60 and others, which enables you to use any mechanical switch you want.

rappy snappy isnt banned in cs (or any other game). only socd (snap tap or however you want to call it) are banned and will get you kicked out of the match in cs and in pro league of other games

Rappy Snappy is the same as SOCD and exists in many other keyboards even ones that are half the price of Wooting with better input latency than Wooting themselves even lmaoo

First off, no. You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. Many other makers have claimed to have as good or better but only one or maybe two have actually lived up to those claims through testing. Everything else fell short of their own claims. One of those that live up to the hype is the new Geon Venom 60HE. However, what truly sets wooting apart from the other brands is the software, and the implementation of said software. Nothing else has come even close until the new Venom 60HE PCB.

wow the apex pro tkl did all that 5 years ago, what a coincidence... ALso, being minimalist is only an upside for a niche of people, since most gamers would rather go for functionality. When it comes to functions, this thing is missing so many cool features important for gaming that it just can not be called gaming keyboard at all. It's just a clean, minimalist keyboard with analog switches, that's about it.

Steelseries has the same technology in there Apex Pro series keyboard you can get a full size, tkl and 60% versions of the keyboard. The anolog switches behave just like the omnipoint switches that Steelserie has They prices are the same but if you want a keyboard where you can see what keys are on the keyboard then you can stick with steeseries lmao

Wooting keyboards are over rated. The macro software does not work properly. If you look online there are lots of comments saying this. They say you can return the keyboard if you are not satisfied and I was not satisfied for this reason. They just sent it back instead of refunding it.
