Not just other people, Rimuru even often underestimates himself. He also often isn't sure whether he can defeat a strong enemy or not. Like when he fought Velgrind and Veldora... Rimuru at first wasn't sure he could win against Velgrind, but in the end he won. Not just 1, but against 2 true dragons. And that wouldn't have happened if Rimuru wasn't angry at that time, he would have doubted if he wasn't angry, and wouldn't have dared to do something reckless to fight 2 true dragons at once.

Anos is one of the very few non-omnipotent characters in anime who can possibly bypass Rimiru's hax and swag on Rimiru. Despite Goku's Complex Multiversal feats, he'd struggle to deal with Rimiru's bullshit. Rimiru is that guy, and you'd have to double down on the powercreep to even stand a chance with this anime heavyweight.

I'm so glad my brother recommended this anime to me. I love how op he is and his personality. It's so real and he reminds me of an actual human moreso than some other op mcs who only flaunt their power and collect harems lol. I'm just mad my brother said this anime is "okay" I literally watched it like three times lol.
