The fact that Violet stood on equal ground as Luminous speaks of her power. She's not even incarnated, she just possessed a body. If she was incarnated and named, imagine how much powerful she can get. Though Im sure if the fight goes on longer, Violet would lose. She's going to be weaker the longer she stays in the realm without being incarnated.

Your guess is correct. Towards the end, there are two other primordial cameos. The one with yellow hair is Jaune, while the one with white hair is Blanc. The yellow-haired primordial is rebellious and wild. She is like nuclear magic, and the location she targets is always the area of Leon Cromwell. On the other hand, the one with white hair is calm and composed. As far as I know, she is the most intelligent among the primordials and is proficient in politics. The white-haired primordial has the most intriguing origin after Guy Crimson. In the novel, there is an event called the "Lake Shore Dyed Scarlet Incident." Both Jaune, Blanc, and Violet will make a return in season 4. After Diablo, these three primordials are the most eagerly anticipated characters among fans to be adapted into anime. That's why they were included as cameos.

Praying the lake shore dyed red incident gets some ovas or even a movie. Love that you can tell it's Leon's city because there is a volcano nearby it. Added information, each of the three primordial have territories they terrorize for fun. Violet is with the western nations, specifically Luminous and Dagruel's territory. Jaune is in a continent where Leon resides, that's where she throws nukes at. Blanc is in the east, which has its own side story. If you include Guy, he resides in the frozen continent but lets his demons attack the northern borders of the Western nations. Diablo doesn't have any specific place.

I can't say she's "the most intelligent" but she is soooo cunning she's scarier than Diablo. Maybe on par with Diablo in intelligence (but that's just me being biased). She also could read people easily that's why she's the diplomat type.

@@sarjatI think it's more that he doesn't care to show it to most people, not that he doesn't like to. He very much does like showing off his intelligence and exploits - at great length - when it's to earn praise from Rimuru. Guy describes his lineage as being strange / vain / whimsical / self-serving. They don't care about power or politics like the other demon lineages; they rather mainly just care about their own entertainment.

Episode 1 Commentary: You have no idea how giddy I was when I first saw this. Such quality animation and translations and the fact that so many little details like ranks and equipment grade was included shows that the staff may have learned from their mistakes about cutting details (I know that Season 2 had to pay for Season 1's mistakes but still) so I'm so happy for Season 3 if they keep with this quality. I think my only gripe with the OVA is that it was clearly written for Light Novel readers which means many Anime-onlys have to rely on a reader to get all of what was talked about though of course they can still enjoy it immensely even if they don't understand all the nitty gritty. ===================================== I wish you knew what that opening scene with Luminous meant. I was not expecting _that_ to make an appearance. ===================================== We see a glimpse of the real Yuuki in this episode. Manipulative b******. ===================================== My opinion of Professor Jeff went up a lot in this episode. ===================================== I don't have to explain Airflow Shut to Anime-onlys. Hallelujah! It is very useful Wind Magic though. Especially when explaining things to loudmouths. ===================================== I'm with Rimuru. How the hell does an A- rank adventurer not have any money? You'd think the Free Guild would screen people with financial issues when promoting them to such high ranks. ===================================== Paulo is so lucky that he's dealing with _this_ Rimuru. Demon Lord Rimuru might have left him in the desert and just said that he got himself killed and people would believe it because it's Paulo. ===================================== I love how Barack and Chiffon immediately clicked to Paulo's personality and refused to put up with it. ===================================== If your wondering what Coleus' issue is with the Barren Lands since the OVA didn't say, it's because the Barren Lands are Demon Lord Dagruel (the giant if you forgot)'s territory. ===================================== It's not mentioned in the anime (and I think I forgot to say it myself) but Soei sent a body double with Rimuru (the same body double that appeared before Rimuru fought Hinata) during the Blumund and Engrassia arcs. Remember, Soei can create a kind of telepathic network with Thought Communication between him and his doppelgangers. It makes for the ultimate spymaster. ===================================== I wish I hadn't watched the trailer and therefore knew about Violet because I realized pretty quickly, based on his color scheme, that Gustav was one of her dependents. Though at least he's more competent than Lacua will be in the movie. Poor Violet probably had to rely on Lacua after losing Gustav. ===================================== Apito's honey is becoming a meme. ===================================== Well in Princess Zenobia's case, her blindness wasn't natural so Apito's honey simply undid the damage caused by Gustav. ===================================== Same thing with Carl as with Gustav. The color scheme gave it away. Damn trailer.

Without spoiling, unfortunately they(Primordials) won't be shown next season. We'll be lucky if they show up in season 4. They are still very far, they haven't even been shown in the Manga yet. Episode 3 Commentary: At least Prince Souther is man enough to admit that Gustav played him. =========================== The fact that Gustav and Carl are Incarnated Archdemons on the level of Demon Lord Seeds is scary. It outright confirms that an unincarnated, unnamed Violet is already at the level of a Demon Lord even before her brief fight with Luminous during the short time she was incarnated within Zenobia. Primordial Demons are scary even with the magicule cap and evolutionary cap that all Demons, including the Primordials, are subjected to when manifested on the physical plane when they don't have a name or material body. ============================ [Forbidden] is Dark Magic that unleashes the user's aura to crush the heart of the target. ============================ I think that thanks to the power boost from Veil of Darkest Night that Carl genuinely became an S rank or Disaster-class threat. It really emphasizes just how powerful a True Demon Lord like Luminous is that he was no match for her. I really love the early glimpses we get of her incredible power. ============================ I know it's very simple but I love how quick you've been to click on Violet's personality. Just be glad she's not as immature as Jaune. ============================ Let's count Luminous' spells and techniques she uses against Violet: 1. A Defensive Barrier 2. Blood Ray, the Art that allows one to essentially use blood as a medium to create Particle Beams. Now, let's count Violet's spells and techniques: 1. Magic Bullet Both also use Airflight, the ability to manipulate Aura to fly. Essentially, Dragon Ball style flying. We saw Suphia use it in Season 2. ============================ Violet pulled the Archdemon out of the original Gustav and either killed him or sent him back to hell. Remember, Demons are Spiritual Lifeforms. Specifically they are the most common type of demonic spirit. They need a host body in order to permanently manifest in the physical world without pointlessly draining their magicules in order to maintain a Magic Body. Guy and Diablo created their perfectly crafted material bodies with forbidden magic using the corpses of the dead and Violet has been trying hard to alter a human host to be the perfect vessel that will allow her full power to manifest without burning it out. ============================ Thank god Luminous showed up to do damage control even if it meant giving credit to a bunglenut like Paulo. It's basically what Rimuru did with Youm except we like Youm and Youm did it without needing to be Charmed. ============================ Rimuru is such a bad lier. Infiltration is not his thing. ============================ The fact that the king's children aren't the least bit sad about their father's death says everything about the man. ============================ Hints of what Luminous' Unique Skill does when she killed the king make me so happy. She really is one my favorite characters. Top 5. ============================ By Mad King, I believe Luminous is referring to Dagruel since Coleus lies between the Barren Lands and Lubelius. She's implying that she had a hand in Coleus' creation in order to serve as a breakwater between the two Demon Lords. Anymore explanation would spoil. ============================ I love Lynn (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynn_(voice_actress)) as Luminous so much. Jill Harris (English VA) does a good job as well. ============================ That post-credit scene with Jaune (Primordial Yellow), Blanc (Primordial White) and Violet is so good. Jaune displays her love for Nuclear Magic by casually throwing a Nuclear Flame spell at someone, Blanc displays her cold calculative personality and Violet confirms Scarlet Bond is canon.❤I love these girls so much. Miyu Tomita (Violet), Yumi Uchiyama (Blanc) and Ikumi Hasegawa (Jaune) are such perfect choices for the Demoness Trio. Bleu (Primordial Blue) and Vert (Primordial Green) are Guy's two maids Rain and Misery. ============================ I really love this OVA. It's my favorite animated Tensura since Episodes 9, 10 and 11 of Season 2, in fact it's better and I love Megiddo.

Episode 2 Commentary: The fact that Prince Aslan, an unevolved human, can compete with any version of Benimaru is impressive as heck. =========================== It's a shame that Rimuru can't control his doubles and his main body at the same time unlike Soei. He had to rely on Great Sage and Gluttony to control his double during the fight with Hinata and if Hinata hadn't killed Gluttony (the ego not the skill) when she did it would have caused a lot of problems. =========================== Early mention of Charm. [Charm] is an Extra Skill, one of the Intrinsic Skills of Vampires and a Spell of Illusion Magic. It allows the user to hypnotize and temporarily control the thoughts of their target with suggestions. =========================== Early mention of Overcomer Vampires. =========================== No explanation needed for Violent Break. Hallelujah! =========================== Excellent deductions you made about Gustav and Carl during the meeting between Rimuru, Aslan, Chiffon and Barack even though you didn't have all answers yet. You weren't fully correct but the fact that you got as far you did with what you had is damn impressive. =========================== Zenobia's Unique Skill [Wisher] is so good, it's a shame she lost it by the end. =========================== No explanation needed for Sleep Down. Hallelujah! =========================== Luminous went to Coleus because Violet's dependents framed the vampires for what was going on in Coleus. As the Queen of the Vampires and a Demon Lord, she is obligated to deal with such problems. Particularly due to Violet's involvement. =========================== I love Rimuru using Universal Shapeshift to take the form of his old life, Mikami Satoru, with some signs of his monster nature such as the eyes due to now being a Majin. ============================ The "old, gentleman" comments are hilarious especially when you remember that Shizu's kids kept calling Rimuru an old man.

Loved finaly seeing best girld Carrera, and fitting that the first time we see Nuclear Magic animated (chronologically since unfortunatly Razen technically did it first by release order) was her nuking El Dorado. Hopefully we'll see more side stuff that includes them, we've already gotten two things that somewhat prominently feature Ultima this year so I wouldn't doubt it if they show up in more things in the near future to hype them up more before their release in the anime. Plus we might finally be getting them in Isekai Memories.

This is based on a spin off side story released alongside the anime. Basically the thing with Luminous is a hint towards what was happening in the novels at the time of Season 1, which is also where he heard about Diablo meeting Shizu and Veldora’s relationship with Ifrit, give or take. The anime turned things that canonically happened but we didn’t see into filler

There are 7 primordial, Noir which mean Black, Rouge for Red, Violet for Purple, Bleu for Blue, Vert for Green, Jaune for Yellow and Blanc for White. As of the ending of these OVA all 7 have had screen time in the anime, I'll let you guess who is who :)

@@VydijaRuksanaslime diaries is cannon its littiraly from tensura nikki spin off . Ovas are also cannon since they are from a "brooklet " of LN. Movie is also "kind of" cannon. Basically nothing in tensura is noncanon besides 1st and 2nd ova episode which held real fan service
