Nothing can surpass this Anime in terms of writing and character development of MC oh man, I love how the author made him from scratch or from weakest and then scale into a higher and later highest being. It is unlike the other anime MC's which start from being OP and has no rival. I love the way the author made some overpower characters which are threats to the MC and later on the MC surpasses them all. Great story, we are looking forward for the new season. Reading the Novel is not enough man😂

Web novel is non canon/the draft of the story as it's deemed to be just the fan fiction of the author While Light novel is both canon and polish, with many parts of the story change, but still follows the same principle with some things added like instead of yuuki or the reincarnation of veldenava as the end villains, it's Michael and feldway, then feldway sending rimuru to the end of time instead yuuki, and now ivarage who never appeared in the WN but is added in LN

At least they STOPPED the dragonball series because at one point you have to before the story becomes absurd and this series with just about EVERYONE having god mode powers went far beyond the absurd and now it's just too stupid for words. The landscape surrounding the generation of these over the top powers would be disintegrated and the whole planet would collapse and disappear. Goku and Frieda destroyed that planet as a result of their fight and their power levels would be nowhere near the slime series and the cast of characters with beyond god mode powers. Viscous matter wouldn't last a millisecond, it would explode into a mist while being vaporized by the elements that "body" was using. Steel would last just a bit longer but it too would be shattered into dust and vaporized. This series was FUN at the very beginning but now it's just a dark mess.
