I just want to say that I appreciate your long-running series. Too many youtubers try to "make things interesting" with randy random and wind up failing within a dozen episodes. That, or they're extremely boring to watch. You're definitely not boring, and it's nice to see someone taking their (relative) time to actually plan and build and play a long game of rimworld.

I believe it's the hygiene mod that adds ceiling fans with lights. They don't provide much cooling and only activate above ~20°C, but they're lights that don't take up any space.

Yeah, can't help much with scythers but at least this time it will be a combat where it doesn't matter so much you leave your colonists out of cover ;). Tainted apparel though is the whole 'furnace' (or possibly burn pit) for destruction, or else research washing machines. In my experience they are slow at processing but I normally just save them for armour and shield belts and they seem to work. Best of luck Mikk xD

The very few examples of dinosaurs skin we have it is less scaly and more like cow skin with texture, and occasionally feathers.

Another great episode, W4sted! I loved how Mikk was dragging a huge dino into the freezer on his own! Not sure if you'll get away with kiting the Cythers this time, since they are faster than most colonists, and they'll run up to them instead of just getting into firing range. Now would be the moment for the Anti Materiel rifle to show its worth with its superior range I would say. I would probably try to get those Cythers bundled up together in a hallway and have the colonists form up near a door on the other side of the hallway and fire at them. Once the Cythers start to get close the colonists go through the door, to the next hallway and repeat the process. It might cost you a few doors, but the Cythers should come at you from one direction. Good luck!

To prioritize moving things, right click on the blueprint, not the object

A couple of things today. You can only get rid of the flak vests by burning them in a crematorium or fire, all clothes and armor get burned, or clean them with the washing machine if you care about keeping them. You can prioritize moving things by telling them to prioritize the blueprint where you are moving the thing. Lastly, I would recommend the wall light mod here steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1423699208&searchtext=wall+light It gets built into a wall and can go behind things. My only annoyance with it is that you can't have multiple of them on the same block pointing in multiple directions. Otherwise, great episode!

W4sted, If you want to get rid of the Tainted and still use it/sell it, Under your Hygiene/Misc section, there is a nice appliance called a Wash machine. Before the update to the mod it was included but now there is a research option for it under the septic branch. Basically it will wash any tainted items you have. It has a max of 10 and it will slowly clean them as they get put in.

Wasted i was wondering, if you ever make a new rim world series, if you could start right next to an enemy faction build up a bit and take them over and settle on top of thier camp. i thought that would make some interesting gameplay. i would like to see some more caravan mechanics and settling in different spots after the first settle.
