This goal might not have been visually incredible, but in terms of difficulty, it's absurd. The guy made a curved shot in the air while falling backward due to Isagi's foul. And to top it off, Gagamaru said he could have shot to the left corner where it was open, but he went for the right, passing through the crowd. It was truly an impossible shot. Oh, and for those who wanted the bicycle kick, he was actually going to do it, but Sae's shadow appeared and ruined everything.

Rin destroyer mode didn't care about anything, but surpassing Sae's play within his mind. It basically destroyed both his body and his teammates. It's a mode that challenged his very limit and to surpass that. Plus at the end of the chapter I doubt Rin could pull any crazy stunts anymore. He is all burnt out after that shot. Isagi was close to stopping Rin, but he was still in confusion about Rin's behaviour, so he can't stop the shoot. Isagi can only totally stop someone once he understands that person mindset.

Bro,they ruined rin completely,he went from caring about and excelling in freedom,and beating sae when he discarded his thought of sae being his brother,to caring about surpassing sae,and viewing him as his brother whom he must surpass and excelling in restraint, completely contradictory,furthermore he had the spiral eyes when he discarded the thought of everything else including his brother , indicating it was his original ego but in a game of originality,he isnt even following his true ego,rin didnt deserve this goal,atleast not in this way,hoping for isagi to absolutely destroy rin to actually become happy and get over this because rin used to be one of my fav characters because of his complex writing and nature which they just ruined.

Something happened to the mangaka after the man city game. The close calls just arnt as intense, we pretty much always know when someone and who exactly is gonna show up to be a hindrance. Theres no surprises anymore, just a really predictable set of matches and scorers. We need the u20 match level writing back man

I hate that Rin gets rewarded with a goal for purposefully not scoring before. This manga has turned into the Isagi & Rin show and i dont like it. the author has forgot about characters like Tokimitsu and Yukimiya completely. This feels like the work of the Naruto creator that forgot about Rock Lee and Neji. Im very disappointed

Without the two above, the former two basically can't even function on the field, because they will lose their purpose. If they can't even join a dogfight then what are they useful for except passing tools?

Tokimitsu was introduced as the 3rd best player in blue lock and for whatever reason the author just completely forgot about him same with Yukimiya why did he get a cool backstory if he was only going to be relevant for 1 game?

The gameplay is increased too such high level play that they will only be allowed as tools to support Rin & Isagi. They simply can't keep up with all the ridiculous stunts that Rin & Isagi pulled out during the game. Both Tokimitsu and Nanase couldn't keep up with Rin's egoistic play anymore and Rin saw that immediately so he discarded them and provoked Charles. Yukimiya wasn't able to keep up with Isagi's idea even once during this match. He is bystander at this point, his time has passed. Only Hiyori was able to keep up with Isagi's thinking processes and Kurona followed up.
