Thank you so much for this helpful review! I was having a hard time deciding between this or a Morrell target but your video has helped me decide!

I honestly love the target more and more everyday. It still looks brand new to me and I don’t even store it in the garage!

solid target. It's about time for a new one.. just sucks the price has increased but what hasn't these days. And for the record, we did blow through one years ago lol a bunch of guys together just hanging out, shooting and barbequing on the weekends. Rhinehart did send a new one after we destroyed it. But it definitely took a long while for us to destroy the target.

I bought one of the Yellow Jacket block targets a couple years ago to shoot with my crossbow and it's specifically designed to shoot with broadheads. I wanted to take it easy on the target to begin with so I shot it using a field point. BIG MISTAKE. I ended up destroying the bolt trying to get it out. EVEN with broadheads, it was so stuck, I destroyed the bolts to remove them. It became my pistol target eventually when I figured out that I no longer was willing to lose anymore bolts or arrows into this tough layered block target. BTW, it's not 44 mag proof. Definitely looking hard at this 18-1 because it's got the highest rating out of all the crossbow targets i've been looking into. And the more you shoot it, I hear the better it gets.

I have nothing but good things to say about this target, I use it heavily during elk and deer season and I don't think i'll need a replacement for 5+ years. I've never put a bolt into it but yes I do think this thing gets better with age. Its a bit easier to pull the arrows out of year after year. Thanks for the comment!

Sevr target real nice too. Slightly larger same price as the big rhinehart. They both work very good at stopping arrows and Broadheads.

Over $200 in Canada, thanks for the review, I think I'll spend the money on one

Thanks. Just brought one home from Academy. Did you yank the red tag out with pliers?

I left it in the target! Haven’t hit it yet luckily

What’s the red tag?

I have one of these. I have shot it exactly 1 time. The arrow was so stuck in there that I had to force a wd40 hose in with the arrow and spray a couple times before I could even get it to budge.

Haha I will say that with field points it’s pretty damn hard to pull out. I’ve noticed it’s way easierwith the rage practice tips and they don’t damage the target too bad.

@@Recruitcreative This was with a field point. It seemed like the target was kind of melted to the shaft. I just bought some arrow lube to try. I was pulling the arrow and had a buddy pulling the target and we couldnt get it out. It was pretty rough. I haven't tried any other tips. I was worried that adding more complexity would make things worse!

Use Ivory soap on your arrows. Rub the arrow like 6-8” from the tip up, and they should come out much easier. That’s what I do on their 3D targets. I have no issue when pulling out.

Solid review in the rinehart. I’m looking for a new broadhead target.
